Great location

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my stay at your listed property hosted by Trevor, and the extremely distressing experience we encountered on the day of departure. On the morning of checkout, our arranged transport was delayed. I respectfully requested a short late checkout until 10:30–11:00, which was not confirmed or denied in a reasonable manner. Despite this, at 10:03 the host began banging aggressively on the doors, and by 10:10 he was shouting at us. Most disturbingly, the host entered the unit without our consent while we were partially undressed, causing severe embarrassment, emotional distress, and a complete invasion of privacy. He proceeded to call security to evict us, despite the delay being only a few minutes and no house rules being broken. The security personnel who arrived apologised to us and informed us that the host is known to be aggressive and frequently involved in disputes with neighbours. This confirms that this was not an isolated misunderstanding but a pattern of unacceptable behaviour. This experience was traumatic, humiliating, and entirely inappropriate. At no point should a host intimidate guests, enter a property without permission, or expose guests in such a manner. This conduct falls far below acceptable hospitality standards. I am requesting that this matter be taken seriously and investigated, and that appropriate action be taken. I also believe this incident warrants compensation for the emotional distress and breach of privacy we experienced.

Our stay was terrific in every respect!

Breakfast was excellent! Our host made sure we had everything we requested each day of our stay. He could not have been more attentive to our every wish. The location was terrific, giving us wonderful views of Camps Bay beach and Lion's Head. Our accommodation (1st floor) had its own small plunge pool and a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs so we could take in the view and enjoy the sunshine. We would heartily recommend this SuperHost and our Camps Bay Villa accommodation.

Another wonderful stay!

Lovely, comfortable, spotlessly clean Guest House villa. Beautiful towels and bedding,comfortable beds. Extremely private- not overlooked in any way. Views to die for! Parking on the property. The host,Trevor is very amiable and will cater for your every need- he goes above and beyond. Overall, highly recommended. This is our 2nd visit and hope to visit again next year!

Amazing stay in Cape Town.

Everything about this property/location was lovely.. close enough to get involved with everything capetown has to offer, but just far enough to be out of the way... Trevor the host makes you feel like one the family and will guide you in the right direction regarding anything to do with your stay..if you have booked this accommodation start getting excited...

Literally the only thing we can moan about was the temperature of the pool..

Amazing views, spacious and clean room and very helpful owner

Amazing views from the balcony. Watching the sunset from the room was something else! Spacious room, very clean, very safe with shutters and an alarm system. Aldo and Trevor were unbelievably kind and supportive. They regularly checked-in on our well-being via WhatsApp and if we needed anything. We had a car accident during our stay and they offered us help, comfort and even suggested to extend our check-out time so we could get things sorted out. Even told us to reach out if we ran into problems with the police or rental car company.

Luxury Camps Bay apartment with outstanding views

Camps Bay Villa enjoys an amazing location high above the village offering outstanding views of Table Mountain, Lions Head and Camps Bay. An easy Uber ride from all amenities, the property also has a driveway for parking. Owner Trevor is a kind and thoughtful host who gave me help with my luggage, explained Uber Eats to me and was very helpful throughout my stay. My apartment was stunning: plunge pool, terrace, balcony in the bedroom… very comfortable bed, great cooking facilities and excellent security. And views to die for. Highly recommended!

Fabulous bolt hole with great view!

Trevor was so helpful - providing great breakfast options and giving instructions for security system etc. Super clean and Trevor clearly has high standards. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Stunning views. Close to the centre of Camps Bay by Uber (very easy to get), but also a nice 25 min walk down to the restaurants too. Advise an Uber back if dark. Some wonderful restaurants in the centre too. Lovely place to watch a sunset! Book this place if it’s available!

Amazing views, incredible host, immaculately clean beautiful villa in an incredible location.

Breakfast was anything you requested from Trevor the amazing host! This was supplied fresh ready for your arrival at the villa! (Self prepared) we loved this as you could have a lazy start.

A few steps to get to the villa but the host will help with anything) worth those steps for the incredible view! Don’t be put off by its distance from the beach as we had no issues using Uber to get to the restaurants.

Perfect!

Really nice owner doing everything possible to make the stay pleasant. Welcome drinks, order whatever you want for breakfast. Tips for restaurants, activities, safety,…. Really kind and helpful! And the location is superb, view on the camps bay sea side and lion’s head with table mountain at the back of the house. Really nice!
