All good, a little bit simple furniture in the room, however comfortable bed and pillows. Good sanitair, although not recent. And what a wonderful location. Good restaurant and early and nice breakfast. The staff is amazing 👍 Had a very good stay.

In pedestrian zone, so car parking somewhere else or in small (paid) hotel parking-lot. Had a lot of fun to get out early morning, but staff was again wonderful helpful. Maybe price / value should be little bit adjusted 🙋🏻‍♂️

Comfortable, alpine retreat in lovely village.

Very well located in the centre of the lovely village of Poschiavo, which is pedestrianised, so very quiet. We had a wood panelled room, which smelled wonderful. Beds comfortable and breakfast lovely. We also had an evening meal in the square outside, which though not cheap (this is Switzerland) was very nice.

This property had some of the nicest staff we have come across in our travels. I was experiencing a health issue during our stay and they were so sweet. The chef even made me a special soup that was easy on my stomach. Breakfast was good.

Happy and content

I had a wonderful stay at the Centrale. It's a great location in the historic centre of Poschiavo; everything you need is on your doorstep. As long as you are staying more than 2 nights, you will get a tourist card which includes free public transport in the valley, which is so handy. The staff were all very friendly and kind to me. I stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor, the bed was the biggest bed I've ever slept in in my life. I really couldn't have been any more comfortable and happy there. The breakfast offer was plenty for me and set me up well for each day. The price is more than fair for the area, really good value for money. I love the Valposchiavo and would definitely stay at the Centrale next time I come back. Grazie a tutto il personale.

Good place for a short stay

Good location right in the center of town. Very friendly staff.

Breakfast should include eggs, Müsli would be nice, this is Switzerland after all. I recommend a few hooks in the bathroom, a comfy chair in the room, there is enough space.

Perfect Poschiavo

Poschiavo, the town and the area, is beautiful. We had a very large, comfortable and newly renovated room. Really nice quality building and furnishings. We had a very special dinner at the restaurant. We loved the visitor's pass fur staying more than 2 nights, and the Bernina Express was spectacular and also really comfortable. Great experience.

Expensive, average stay

Very convenient location. Breakfast was simple but decent quality.

The room is very plain with only a simple, uncomfortable wooden chair and desk. There are no black-out curtains, only blinds, so light gets in and if you leave them down, restaurant staff (smoking out back) and people walking past can see inside very easily. Restaurant staff didn't allow me to sit in middle section after they had set the tables for lunch before 10 am! Would it really be so inconvenient to reset one place? Breakfast was understaffed one of the days (though she remained polite). Overall the difference between very high price and overall experience is too wide.

Nice, old place, friendly staff. Simple and nice decorated - the breakfast was great, so was the breakfast room.

The room for Swiss standards was ok - as an international traveler, I'm used to have a fridge and hot water in the room - but this a minor issue. The poorly soundproof was a bigger issue, as I felt more than once that someone is walking in our room, or using the WC, when in fact it was in the next room.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we could even leave our backpacks there after check-out to walk around the town. The food was very good too.

Great, authentic and comfortable place to stay in the heart of Poschiavo.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Poschiavo, a short walk from the train station. The village is beautiful and peaceful. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were delicious. Service was friendly and made everything easy.

Nice room, nice décor, wood paneling, kind of what you expect but done beautifully. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms are clean, but the shower is tiny and with that wrap around screen a bit so so,....could benefit from some modernization. Breakfast was nice, but we were disappointed with the dinner,....had a carpaccio which was cut so thick it seemed you are eating raw steaks, and the luganighe with risotto was kind of a boiled (dried out) sausage in a little watery brown sauce, the vegetables simply boiled in water with no herbs, nothing. While our stay was good, I would not be able to recommend the restaurant.

Right in the heart of town, 10 mins walk from rail station. Nice breakfast buffet and evening meal was good (only ate dinner once). Small but clean room with everything I needed. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.
