Very comfortable and clean place at a great location

Huge room with pretty much everything you might need and also very clean! Really close to the train station and a few minutes walk from the church. Everything was nice and even though we didn’t meet the hosts they seemed very welcoming.

I think the only thing missing is a towel or rug to step on after the shower.

Perfect family stay just one minute from the Bernina Express station.

We had a wonderful stay at Corte Rossa in Tirano. We stayed in a family room with two separate bedrooms, which was extremely comfortable and perfect for traveling with children — plenty of space and very cozy for the whole family. The location is absolutely unbeatable: it is literally a 1-minute walk from the train station, where the Bernina Express departs. It couldn’t be more convenient, especially if you’re planning this trip. Another big plus is the area around the accommodation — there is a great bakery just around the corner and two very good restaurants nearby, both offering tasty food at very reasonable prices, which made meals easy and stress-free. Everything was very clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Communication with the accommodation was easy and efficient, which made our stay even more pleasant. I highly recommend Corte Rossa to families and to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and an exceptional location in Tirano. We would definitely stay here again!

Beware, no lift

It was close to the train station, after I figured out how to find it. The TV had Netflix which was helpful because I stayed in resting.

My room had an awful odor! At first I thought it was cigarettes but then it seemed like sewer. It was freezing outside but I had to keep opening the window. I didn't like that there was no lift. I had not read far enough in the reviews to find that fact. The manager did carry my suitcase up and I paid a cleaning woman to carry it down.

Perfect location, great stay.

It is very convenient to both of the railway stations (2-300 yards?) and being in a courtyard was nice and quiet. So very easy to get off the train, dump your bags and lots of places to eat nearby. You are emailed instructions to find it and the door codes to get in on the day. The apartment was nice and clean and lots of space. Enough toiletries and tea and coffee (and the a little apple tart things were appreciated). I stayed to join the Bernier express and it was perfect.

The distance to everything was great, the room was super clean and the welcome snacks appreciated. We felt very comfortable and absolutely loved Tirano. The bathroom items provided were great and the room was also very easy to get to and enter using a pass code.

Helped us in a pickle!

They really helped us in a pickle when stuck due to train cancellations after coming in from Switzerland. Despite it being late, the host messaged me immediately after booking, making sure I got managed to check in okay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the snacks available for us too - and the room was equipped with tea and coffee facilities. We also loved the shower. There is a 24 hr vending machine downstairs too which was great.

Perfect place to explore before or after Bernina express

Everything. Convenient check in, coffee, great location for Bernina express, very comfortable bedding, steps from multiple cafes. Loved the little cakes for breakfast as well! Great little balcony in each room.

Nothing. Just a note to the owners - I suspect the shower needs recaulking. There was water on the master br floor after we showered. Easily cleaned up with towels. Everything lovely, but thought you would want to know.

the amenities - there is only one espresso cup and one coffee mug, there is a tea bag left unused/ uncovered. There are glasses but the room don’t have a dishwashing liquid. On our second day after they cleaned the room , they put back the glasses on the rack on which I noticed that there is still the lip mark. On our first day there is only one hand towel on the bathroom.

Perfect stay for family where some want to ski and others want to do something else

The location beside the train station was great as my husband and daughter went skiing in Aprica and I travelled by train to St Moritz, Milan and Varenna. The room was cleaned every day. Mini cakes/crackers tea and coffee were replaced every day. I would definitely stay here again.

Good room but not in a warm ocotber!

Nice clean room near railway station. Check-in with code worked well.

The airco did not work and it was 28 degrees in the room. Opening the windows was not a pleasant alternative as our room was next to the stairs and people coming and going till late at night and traffic noise from main road. When we asked about the airco at the reception of the hotel the man and woman there were very unfriendly, quite rude really. Heating only in october and no cooling, maybe mention this on the site so clients do not expect airco. Unfortunately we had hardly any sleep at all and regret having chosen this room.

Very good

It was conveniently situated a few minutes from the station. It actually had two bedrooms although we only needed one. Cakes had been left for us together with tea and coffee which was a nice touch.

Normally check in would have been in a separate hotel but as we would arrive after 7 we had to send photos of our passports. This proved to be stressful for us with wifi and email issues. However we got there in the end and staff were responsive to our issues. Some of the sockets wouldn't take our travel plugs. We also managed to miss the sign for the apartments across the courtyard beyond the locked gate and ended up in a private set of flats but that was our mistake!
