Excellent hotel, definitely recommend.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It's very clean, had everything I needed in the room. The restaurant was lovely and the food was delicious. There was plenty of choice both for our evening meal and our breakfast.

short and sweet.

The hotel was selected because of it's location, we were arriving on the Bernina Express and Tirano was effectively a lay over. We were pleasantly surprised and relieved at how lovely the hotel was. Check in was easy and the staff were competent and friendly, very happy to help. It was very comfortable.

Good location

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and drawbacks. On the positive side, the location is excellent — just a short walk from the train station, the city center, and a wide variety of restaurants. The breakfast offered limited variety, but the products available were of good quality.

The room assigned to me was quite small and located in an external area of the property. Additionally, the curtain did not provide proper thermal insulation nor did it effectively block out external light, which affected the overall comfort of the room. Another inconvenience was the early checkout time at 10:30 a.m., which limited the ability to fully enjoy the room on the last morning.

Great overnight stay after Bernina Express before onward travel with fab breakfast

Excellent location being very close to the station. Friendly and helpful staff. Check-in was available earlier than expected. We were also able to have something to eat in the restaurant mid-afternoon which was very welcome as we had missed lunch and it was too early for dinner. We had booked two double rooms for us and our friends. Whilst the rooms were next door to each other, our room's entrance was outside the main building on a covered walkway. This seemed odd but the room was very nice, spacious and had a huge bathroom. Continental buffet breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety with fruits, cereals, breads, pastries, meats, eggs & cheeses and fresh coffee made to order. Nice surroundings too.

We found the rooms very warm and could not adjust the radiators. Our friends' room in particular was so warm, they had the window open all night. We struggled to find a plug socket near enough to plug in the tea/coffee & kettle combo and ended up having to place it on the floor next to the bed.

Great location and very convenient.

Best location - arrived via train to take the Bernina Express - all within a very short walk. My room, a single room, had a door to the balcony with an awesome view of the mountains and the train station. If the weather allows it's a great place to sit outside. The restaurant that is attached provides all you need, a quick breakfast in the morning before departure or a late dinner after arrival. My room was 104 and also 106 has access to the balcony.

Beds are very small - they are twin size beds - getting used to this in Europe.

Convenient hotel is the only real plus

Proximity to station, very convenient for both Bernina Railway and mainline trains.

Noisy at times, hotel very tired, poor quality bed linen, breakfast choices uninspiring. Whilst staff were obviously trying their best their inexperience and lack of training was all too apparent.

Excellent location, 1 min walk from Train Station and 1 min across another train station to catch Bernina Express Nearby cafes and souvenir shop Welcoming reception Good breakfast Cosy and clean room with XL bathroom Provides safe and reliable storage facilities for large suitcases. We left our 23kgs and boarded Bernina Express with our Carry-Ons.

Nice hotel right across from the train station.

I appreciated the room after a high-tech barren hotel I was in before. I like the tiles and comphy bed and nice bathroom and a real shower instead of a tub I find difficult to use for a shower. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very kind in the hotel.

I did not like my experience at the one dinner I tried. Maybe because I don't know how to order in Italian, but the staff was impatient with me and then kind of ignored me and there were only a few of us in the room. I was looking forward to my first meal in Italy and instead did not have a good experience. It was a reminder to use Google translate!

Room was unsafe and not prepare

Restaurant is very good , location is amazing , the rooms look ok but very low maintain , great view and windows

Beds are hard , the room was very hot , when i took a bath the water leek all the way to our room getting many of our personal things wet .. it was so much water that at 11pm had to run to reception as the phone didn’t work for them to do something .. at 11:30 had to wake up my 6 year old to move us to another room .. not one came to help moving or to check ..

A nice hotel but another time we would try to eat elsewhere.

Very good stay. Location was perfect 50 metres from the station.

Reception staff were fine but not the dining room staff who seem to lack basic training. Water was produced but we had to ask for glasses. Wine ordered did not arrive until we reminded them after we had been served with the food. Generally we were made to feel unwelcome and a nuisance. It was really annoying that one of the waiters was clearing and resetting tables instead of attending to what we needed.

Apart from the location to the station for the Bernina Express, nothing else good.

Rooms were very hot and stuffy. Only air con in main reception areas. Breakfast very poor. Left cases with reception to put away in a secure area when we left the hotel 48 hours before and when we returned the luggage was still in the same place on the guests side of reception, between the main entrance and the reception desk, where anyone could have taken our luggage. UNACCEPTABLE. When questioned the staff said that it had been perfectly safe there.

Perfect location in Tirano, welcoming staff, great for exploring the region.

The hotel is opposite the train station perfect for onward travel. The staff are very polite and welcoming. The breakfast buffet provides plenty of the typical European offerings. We did not use their restaurant but there are plenty of others nearby.

There is no air conditioning but a fan was available which we did make use of!

A good stay while traveling on the Bernina Railway

Very friendly and helpful staff. A fantastic location for those traveling by Bernina Railway – opposite the train station. A very good breakfast, with a selection of cheeses, cold meats, and fruit. Parking is available (a few minutes' walk away) and public parking spaces are available near the hotel (paid at the parking meter). Nearby there are many restaurants, bars, and shops.

The room was relatively small. No air conditioning, but the available fan helped somewhat. It was impossible to leave the window open due to noise from the very early morning hours (deliveries to nearby bars).

We love the location of the hotel. It was really convenient for the Bernina Express.

The location next to railway was perfect. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly.

We were on the top floor, there was no air conditioning and the room was sweltering. We were able to sleep because we were exhausted. They did have a fan going in the room when we got there and the window was cracked open so they attempted to make it livable. I would have enjoyed in milder weather but it was in the high 80f.

A little gem in Tirano!

This property was absolutely perfect for our short stay in Tirano. It was just a short walk from the train station and the Barina Express. It was in walking distance to restaurant/cafes and the town centre. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast the next morning.

That there was nothing air conditioning in our room and it had been locked up all day so it was very hot inside the room.

A great little hotel for an overnight on the way over the alps.

Right at the station, it's the perfect hotel for catching the first Bernina express train the next morning. A really hot day and evening, so the rooms were a bit stuffy, but they had a fan which made it fine. The breakfast was very good with all sorts of options. Really helpful staff. A lovely little hotel.

Mostly lovely but some limitations

Lovely staff, great food and nice dining room

Bathroom was lovely but shower pressure not great and shower seemed to move between too hot and not hot enough. Very small single room and no window to open for fresh air, only a door which opened onto a shared patio.

Excellent location for those travelling on Bernina Express. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff on reception.

Breakfast staff not very friendly. We were sent to the back room despite seeing tables ready in the the main breakfast area (the back room seemed to be where the families with children were, while we were travelling as a couple). We also felt we were causing an inconvenience asking for coffee! Otherwise would have given 10/10 overall for our stay.
