Good location and easy checkin. Room was generally fine.

There was a towel within the shower when I arrived that appeared to be damp. The bathroom had an off smell, especially around the wet towel, which I believe was the cause of the smell. As I was only staying for one night, this wasn’t a huge issue but it did make me wonder whether the room had been sufficiently cleaned if a damp towel was in the shower on arrival.

Incredible stay thanks to an incredible staff!

The staff was incredibly helpful, and would do anything to make sure that we had a great stay!

Although Check-in was in another building, the location of the room was very close. It made lugging around our bags a bit more difficult, but totally worth it for the room!

Lovely themed room, generous staff, and great location!

Staff were absolutely lovely and walked us down the street to our suite. Nice big bed, super close to the Bernina Express station, and provided lotion and body wash. The themed rooms was a super cool touch. A great stay!

Great stop over place for the Bernina Express

Very friendly helpful staff, well equipped room, nice to have a fridge and kettle. Good secure location and a guide to get there. Lots of coffee shops and a bakery close by for breakfast. Very handy for the train station.

Enjoyed stay,, even though we had trouble with the check=in. Staff was very friendly

breakfast , lunch was excellent. Very friendly waiter service. Hotel location was perfect and quiet, short walk from transportation. Best ice cream store was only 100 yard away. Beautiful small city.

The check-in was difficult and time consuming. The text message to tell us to go to a different hotel to check in was not received on time. There should be directions at the entrance location stating where to check in. This would prevented much anxiety. My spouse was very upset.

Great location, clean and peaceful hotel.

Very friendly and helpfull staff members. The hotel location is just perfect. Couple of minutes walk from the railway station and from cafes, restaurants and shops. Room very clean ( Austria suite). WiFi very good! Kettle and cups in the room. Minibar (fridge) in the room. Complimentary mineral water. Other drinks reasonably priced. Nice view from the window, very quiet and safe surroundings.

Everything was perfect. The only thing I can actually mention would be a lack of coffee in the hot drinks selection. There were some teabags, infusions and sugar/ sweetener, but no coffee.

The room is beautiful, best location if you have to take the Bernina Express next day early morning. The room was spacious, beds were comfy, surrounded by mountains. Worth it. Would definitely stay there again.

The check in instructions are not clear. The rooms are in a different bldg and the check in is in the different hotel. 2 min walk. It took some time to figure that our. Other than that the hotel room was really good.

Super location only 5mins from the Bernina Express. Check in is at the hotel so go here 1st, we got escorted to our Room, it was perfect. Clean, Comfortable and relaxed. Shower was powerful and hot. AC in room worked a treat it was 33 degrees when we visited

Great location close to the station and restaurants. Check in is at the Bernina Hotel (opposite the station). Mathia was outstanding at check in and escorted us to the hotel rooms across the street and helped with our luggage. A very polite and thoughtful employee; an asset to the hotel. Rooms were great with air conditioning clean and a good bathroom/shower. View in Roma room was looking over the mountains. Clean white linen. Complimentary bottle of water included.

We were very happy, only negative would be check in , you must check in at the Bernina Hotel & we had difficulty finding it although it is only a stone throw away opposite the train station. Directions on the gate would be good or prior instructions. Otherwise very happy, bright, clean , quiet room, lots of hot water & all you need toiletries. & towels.

Lovely short stay

Walking distance from the train station! :) They have lotions/creams, intimate washes, shower caps which other hotels/accommodations do not offer.

I wish we were given a clear check-in process. We already walked towards the gate of the property with out heavy luggages, and when we arrived it was said in the gate it was said that we should walk back to the hotel near the train station to check-in.

Great short trip.

I liked the large clean room, the secure parking (chargeable). The Property is a five minute walk to Bernina express train station. Hotel Bernina breakfast is great. I also had lunch at cafe novecento.

The Lightning in the indiana room. Although, I didn’t raise it with hotel Bernina. So they didn’t have a chance to help.

A good stay, but some things need to improve to make it a great stay.

Location was close to train station and main restaurants. Room clean and shower facilities excellent.

Could not control the room temperature as upon asking were told it was pre-set. Room was quite warm especially at night. Phone was not working, and although we reported it, it was still not repaired. A working phone is a must as the lodging is away from the hotel thus immediate communicate with reception was not possible. We also tried the restaurant at the main hotel but quality and portions of food left much to be desired.

Design Suite Tirano was great value for money, and in a very convenient location for the town and Bernina Express railway. The room was clean and comfortable; and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Bernina Hotel. Perfect for a one-night stay.

Good stay for the price, but lack of in-room facilities

Central location, modern room.

Facilities were very much lacking. No fridge, no toilet paper, no proper duvet cover (just a simple large bedsheet provided), no dining ware, no utensils. Essentially a room with bed, and toiletries.

Room was amazing, breakfast at the Bernina hotel is excellent and we'd definitely stay again.

There aren't any 'in room' facilities. No tea/coffee making but that's reflected in all the places we've stayed in north Italy, so not specific to this hotel. The hotel reception and the best place for breakfast is the Bernina Hotel, located directly opposite the station(s) - The Bernina Hotel operate the Design Suites. The themed rooms are stunning and well looked after. Would gladly stay there again and for anyone taking the Bernina Express to St Moritz it's a no-brainer.

No fault of the hotel at all but the town is deadly dull. Compared to many other places in the region it's weird because it sort of closes down after 7pm. When you've been used to a good selection of restaurants in Venice, Verona, Milan or any other place in north Italy - Tirano seems like a large rural village. But as I said, no fault of the hotel at all.

ideal innovative room for short stay in Tirano. avoid a room fronting onto main road

Room themes are innovative. also room size compared to a lot of Italien hotel room was plenty big for two persons. Because the studios belong to nearby Hotel Bernina the breakfast is taken in Hotel and was incredibly good range on offer to compare with other Italien stays!

The room morocco I would not recommend to others as faces directly onto Tirano‘s busiest traffic street. I was kept awake and much disturbed by constant traffic noise through night snd early morning. so I recommend to take another room not facing onto the street if you can

The restaurant was great for dinner with excellent food and service. The suites were clean and nice The shower was great.

The plate I grabbed from the stack for breakfast was dirty which was a bit disturbing. Not sure how that got so missed and made me question how clean the other plates were.

Nicely themed spacey rooms in the center of Tirano with good breakfast.

Beautifully themed room with comfortable beds and a good breakfast buffet in the center of Tirano. As mentioned in other reviews, the suites are managed by the hotel Bernina (check-in and breakfast).

Our air conditioner started to leak condensate water in the evening, which we forgot to mention to the staff. No big deal though, we just put a towel to catch the drops.
