Good deal to stay when in Tirano, good location & staff!

Clean and well maintained. Close to the Tirano station (~15-20min walk). Staff were so nice and helpful. Great deal for the price!

I think it’s older hotel, so the walls could use a touch-up/re-paint, but nothing we didn’t really like!

Perfect choice for Bernina express

Comfortable bed with firm mattress for back support. We had a good night sleep as there were blinds for blocking sunlight. The noise from the road was not too much, although the room walls were thin and we could hear sound from nearby rooms. This hotel is at a perfect location, 10 mins walk to central station to take Bernina express train and close to city center with all the restaurants. The train actually passes outside the hotel. There is free car parking in front of the hotel. The breakfast was average.

Please provide kettle in the room for hot water, we had to ask it at the reception. The Walls were thin, some soundproofing will help in better sleep.

Hidden Gem

We loved this charming hotel. We plan to come back and take more time to explore the area. The staff where very friendly and the hotel was clean. We left early on the Bernina Express and they packed us a cute breakfast to go. Top notch service!! One of our favorite stays on our trip through Europe.

Location was nice- we were able to have a nice calm walk from the main station and got there in 20 mins. We arrived really late in the night and someone from the staff called us to see where we were. Thankfully, they allowed us to have a late check-in and waited for us.

Location, clean and customer care is perfect. And also breakfast was very nice. Tissues and bed sheet was perfectly clean. İ recommend everyone and of if I go Tirano again I would go same hotel. Thanks for everything.

I recommend this! Very nice room with clean washroom as well. Tv and dryer also given views are amazing from the balcony and they also give you breakfast in the morning with a very great menu, almost everything the give you like juice,fruit,tea coffee etc etc. Receptionist was nice,he even help me with my luggage:) 10/10 ☆☆☆☆☆ Thank you so much for your service @ Hotel la rotonda

Good

The host was courtious to guide as we came late, helped us in luggage carrying as no lift was there, gave us taxi contact to reach for bernina express on time. Breakfast was already in room in hotpot as he know we will leave early in morning.

Rooms were small, rod iron bed was ok, no tv, for a night it was good to go, for longer stay for me it is not ok

Too rushed to assess

We weren't there long enough to assess this - we arrived late in the evening as a landslide following terrible weather had closed part of the train line. Simone was very helpful in keeping us updated about this as we made our way from Naples. We left early the next morning.

We didn't know until we were almost there that there would be no breakfast before 8 am. It's a good 20 minutes from the train station and we had to arrive early to catch the Bernina Express. We were given a packed breakfast that was meagre really - half a round of cheese/ham sandwich, little brioche, apple, a small yoghurt and a drink. Had we known the breakfast limit we'd have booked elsewhere.

The view from room is spectacular. The price is reasonable. All staff are nice.. I like its breakfast too.

The distance is quite far from station (on yhe other hand, it's very near the Basilica of Madonna. But not a big problem as I deliver a baggage by SBB the day before and will.receive it the day after so I don't have to carry all.of.my baggage to and from hotel.

Exceptional

Chose this hotel for a 2 night stay on a motorcycle tour for it's secure garage for motorcycle storage and proximity to Tirano station for the Bernina Express. Superb range for breakfast and friendly staff. Stayed in single room 6 which had a balcony overlooking the church.

Small and very friendly place!

Excellent place! We stayed one week for bicycle holidays, and we had everything we needed in La Rotonda. We had fantastic coffee for breakfast which was included in the price. And the friendly staff let us use the garage to store the bicycles – it was a great week!

The location was beautiful - the view from our room was lovely, and the option to eat breakfast on the terrace with views of the mountains really made our stay. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the place had a warm and friendly atmosphere.
