Le Rondini is genuinely exceptional. The apartment isn’t just clean — it’s immaculately kept, down to the smallest detail. Everything is placed with care: neatly arranged drawers, perfectly folded towels, and a level of organisation you’d normally only see in a top hotel. It honestly feels like staying in a 5-star property, but with more warmth and personality. The facilities are excellent, including a proper ground-coffee machine and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clear a lot of thought goes into making the space feel welcoming. We were greeted by Isabella, who was outstanding from the moment we arrived — warm, enthusiastic and genuinely keen to help. Her kindness sets the tone for the whole experience. The touches around the apartment make it even better: homemade juice, cakes, little extras you don’t expect but really appreciate. If you want somewhere close to the station — especially for the Bernina Express, this is perfect. A standout stay that easily outperforms many “premium” hotels. Highly recommended.

Loved everything about it

Very special property. The feeling that the host really care about the guests was in all the details. We were a family of four renting both rooms and therefore the kitchen was just for us and worked well as a sitting room for playing games. Kitchen is well equipped and we all loved excellent coffee and snacks provided. A display with maps and tourist information in the kitchen served us well in planning our hiking trips. This wealth of local info was not easily available on the internet. The hiking trails in the area are really beautiful and well worth trying if you are so inclined. The location of the property is very handy as well - 4 min walk from the train station. The apartments were super clean and well maintained. The access to a washing machine and dryer was very handy as it was a half way point in our trip. We also liked Tirano itself. It’s a small but very pleasant village with lots of little cafes and restaurants. And you have a beautiful view from every corner of it. All together a great stay.

Fantastic. An excellent place, in a great location, with a lovely host.

Let's start with the host. Isabella was very friendly and helpful, welcoming us on arrival, showing us around the apartment and explaining things about the apartment and local area. There was a large selection of maps and tourist info in the place. Isabella had kindly stocked the fridge with refreshments and there is wine to purchase should you wish to. There's a loaded coffee machine to use and a selection of tea, along with snacks (biscuits, cakes etc), all provided. The location is superb - a quite street just off the main street, and 5 mins walk from the square, and train station. The apartment is very modern, clean and bright. After the first night, i did think that the one room for improvement would be for proper curtains on the windows as there's only a thin curtain. the next morning I realised that the windows had fancy built-in mechanical blinds which we'd missed! An excellent place, in a great location, with a lovely host. P.S. The secure parking was a bonus!

I lived in Isabella's apartment for 3 nights and it was enjoyable. The apartment was spotless clean and integrated into a safe and beautiful residential neighborhood. The apartment owner, Isabella, is a kind person and helpful . Car parking is inside the property and it is safe and convenient.

The described air conditioning wasn’t actually an a/c unit in the room and did not keep it quite cool enough for me, with temps in the 90s. If it had been a little cooler outside, it would have been just fine.

Superb accommodation near the train station

Only 5 minutes from the train station in Tirano, grocery store is on the way. Kind and communicative host. Self check-in possible. Two rooms share one clean fully equipped kitchen. Room has a private bathroom, both clean and beautiful. Wifi, fridge, coffee machine, oven. Some snacks and drinks for free. I would totally recommend it to everyone looking for a stay around Tirano.

Perfect accomodationa and very nice host!

Great accomodation! The house is big, very clean and comfortable. The matress and the pillows were very nice, which is realy important after a long day exploring the city. The coffee was amazing! Isabella had also prepared some snacks, water, beer. The garden was specious, very beautiful, there was sitting area, where you can enjoy coffee or appertivo. The location is the best, only 2 minutes walk from the train station. I highly recomment the apartement and Isabella as a host!

Very comfortable stay

Location in the center of Tirano, and the hostess will give good recommendations too! There is a shared kitchen with one other room, but the kitchen is very well equipped. Hostess even had some drinks for us in the fridge and some coffee or tea for the morning. No air-conditioning, but the floors are cooled some way, so it wasn't hot (even though the temp was above 30 degrees)

Very welcoming property in an excellent location

It's difficult to list all the great things about this property! On check-in we were greeted by Isabella who kindly gave us suggestions for things to see and places to eat. We tried most of them and they were great! Throughout our stay, she was always available for any questions via Whatsapp or through the Booking app. There are also leaflets available on location about train schedules, hiking trails, etc. As for the property itself, it's hard to tell if it's newly refurbished or extremely well maintained and cleaned (probably both!), but everything was sparkling! We stayed in the blue room which looked very modern, with excellent lighting, very comfortable bed, USB sockets, window roller shutters etc. We also had access to a fully equipped shared kitchen, with a great coffee machine, fridge space and a selection of teas, snacks and drinks available. Welcome snacks were also available in our room on arrival which was a great touch! Whether you're in Tirano for the town itself or for the Bernina Express, and whether you're travelling by train or car, the property's location makes it an ideal choice regardless. There is a less than 5 mins walk to the train station (which includes the Bernina Express starting point), 5 mins walk to the city center and there is ample private parking available on location. The nearest supermarket is also just 1 min away. It's fair to say that this was one of the best and most welcoming properties we've stayed in!

Very nice room very close to train station. Close walk to everything. Very clean. Nicely appointed and everything was very nice. Very pleasant touch to have some breakfast snacks and some drinks available in the fridge (even a beer and some liquors!!!). Coffee machine also a nice touch. Isabella was so very helpful with directions and recommended the best restaurant - very helpful. I really loved the soap products - I wish to ask what the body wash is because it smells so good!!! Tirano is way more than a stop to the train Bernina Express. A lovely city and lots to see and great local hikes. Highly recommended is the restaurant recommended by our host - Palazzo Parravicini - it was very very good.

Next room is very close - you can hear then talking etc. so you need to keep your door closed and hope they are not noisy- however I did not find this an issue for our stay- but might be for others. Minor issue and does not detract from my overall feelings.

This accommodation has two rooms with a shared kitchen which is well stocked to prepare food and eat. There were complimentary pastries for breakfast, drinks (even home made liqueur!) and a good quality coffee machine. It is both modern - almost brand new - and immaculate. (I've never given full marks for cleanliness in any review). It is less than 5 minutes walk from the station, and 10 minutes to the old town. There's a supermarket a couple of minutes away. The location was very quiet and I slept well. It is possible to hear the residents in the adjacent room so it is necessary to be quiet but that suited me. Isabella was a helpful host who spoke English. Fantastic accommodation and I will return should I need to stay in the area again.

Good choice for a short stayover when taking the "Bernina Express" train.

Located close to the station, supermarket and bars for breakfast round the corner, also restaurants for eating out available in walking distance. Parking place on private ground directly next to the room is a plus. Info material for Bernina train, Tirano and Valtellina is available also for guests, which we appreciated as we arrived too late for the tourist information to be open, and left early next morning with the Bernina train. Tips for restaurants were given and appreciated!
