Clean room, enough in the room for a stop over, great layout and design! Friendly staff and owner is very welcoming, owner is communicative and helpful. Restaurant next door which is included for breakfast is phenomenal, we loved it so much we ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant!

Excellent hotel for an overnight stay in a good location 5 mins walk from the train station. Modern and spotlessly clean. We were upgraded to a very spacious room for our stay, which was a nice surprise. The restaurant owned by the same family was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended hotel and we would definitely stay again if we're travelling in the area.

Our room was so so small, no air conditioning or air flow. The hotel controls your room temperature asked countless times and eventually was told they had issues with the software/server and that we could just open the window to get air!!!! On the 1st floor, really?? I must give huge shout put to The young Lady at the front desk who was so pleasant and helpful. She made excellent recommendations on places to go and arranged reservation and ride to the amazing mountain top restaurant Osteria Roncaiola. She was so delightful!!

Bed slopes on the edge, very uncomfortable. Woke up a couple of times to not be on the slope side of the bed. Noise every few seconds coming from somewhere inside the room. We had to turn on white noise to mask the sound. Had a terrible night of sleep because of all of the above. We tried to call someone at 8:30p but no one picked up / there is not someone to call. Room #11 has no view of the window from the bed so it feels claustrophobic. Breakfast was fantastic.

Alessia was so helpful checking in, helping with transportation and explaining the procedures they’ve set up that are really efficient. The room was not large but set up well and the linens and towels were top of the line. I would definitely stay there again. Although we missed breakfast due to time constraints, the dinner we had there was delicious. Tagliatelle buckwheat pasta with cabbage & potato was SO good, as was the salad and pizza.

I stayed at Hotel Terra in Tirano and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. The room had a serious mechanical issue — a bathroom extractor fan that ran loudly and continuously throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. There was no staff available after 8:00 PM, so we had no way to get help during the night. The next morning, we reported the issue to the receptionist, Alessia, who confirmed the problem after checking with the hotel manager. She assured us that a refund would be processed through the booking platform, provided we paid at check-out and followed up through Expedia. We trusted this and followed the instructions. Despite multiple follow-ups, the hotel later refused the refund, and I received no direct response from hotel management despite contacting them via WhatsApp. This is unacceptable, especially when the issue was acknowledged on site and clearly impacted the quality of the stay. As a long-time traveler and frequent hotel guest, I have never written a negative review or requested a refund before — but this experience left me no choice. I would not recommend this hotel due to poor service, lack of accountability, and failure to take responsibility for a clear breach of basic hospitality standards.

The hotel, the room the staffs are great. Except the breakfast was very poor. We’re served with stale bread probably few days old bread that when you cut it, it just crumbled. The breakfast is very disappointing. The Hotel’s name was not visible from the street, but the staff was so kind to welcome us at the gate. Thank you.
