Charming location with a great host

Alberto was great! He reached out before my trip to make sure both when I was arriving and that I knew how to find the place. The signage is very small so pay attention to the photo he sends of what the entrance to the building looks like. Its a fairly short walk from the train station which is how you'll arrive if you do not have a car. The room itself is relatively large with a big bed as well as a daybed. The shower is large enough for a big guy like me which sometimes can be a challenge at small hotels like this.

The walls are very thin. Its a quiet neighborhood so I never actually had a problem getting to sleep. Someone next door was playing loud music one day, if they had been during the night that would have been an issue though.

These are the most wonderful apartments I’ve ever stayed in!

These are the most wonderful apartments I’ve ever stayed in! Everything is sparkling clean, cozy, and thought out to the smallest detail. The breakfasts are amazing — so many delicious choices! And the host, Alberto, is just the kindest person — he welcomed us so warmly, showed us around, told us about the city, and even explained how the Swiss train works. Outside, it’s so quiet you can hear the mountain river flowing. There are lovely little restaurants nearby. This place truly deserves more than a 10 — it’s simply perfect!

I can wholeheartedly say that this accommodation room is second to none. The room is so spacious & divinely clean. It’s well equipped w/posh toiletries & a pair of slippers for each guest. Breakfasts are included w/lots of things to choose from I.e. croissants (very nice), toast, biscuits, juices, yogurt, tea & nepresso coffee…what else can you ask for? And the best part, its value for money & too close to Bernina express & Tirano station. Additionally, if you love steak & spring chicken, ristorante next to it is the best! Book now & be amazed as much as we did🥰

A truly exceptional stay!

The location is absolutely perfect, and the host is incredibly dedicated. Despite our late arrival, we were welcomed with a personal check-in at 10 PM, which we deeply appreciated. The moment we entered the room, we were instantly amazed by its beautiful design. Every detail inside is thoughtfully chosen to make the guest feel like the most important person in the world. The attention to detail is truly outstanding and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The bed was super comfortable with lovely linens. One of the biggest highlights was the wonderful breakfast room. Each guest has their own cabinet with dishes, a personal coffee machine, and a fridge stocked with a variety of yoghurts. There were all kinds of milk, different types and strengths of coffee, croissants, mini crostate, gluten-free crackers — truly everything you can imagine, and more. This accommodation completely won us over — possibly the best place we’ve ever stayed in. We wholeheartedly recommend it, and if we ever return to Tirano, this will definitely be our only choice. A rating of 10 doesn't do justice to this amazing place and its fantastic host!

Great location, room exactly as in the description. Very very clean and every little detail made you feel valued. It has every necessity one would need. The owner was very kind, polite and informative. He took his time to explain everything in detail regarding both Tirano and the Bernina route, giving instructions on special places to visit and dinner options. Check in was easy and also the owner was always responsive.

Great location, very modern and worth staying at

Great location and easy to get around. The apartment was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and featured modern fittings that blended beautifully with the charm of the old building. It was also very spacious. There were thoughtful touches, like having spare power plugs available in case you forgot yours. This was the nicest place I’ve stayed during this trip. The owner was very attentive on arrival and provided clear instructions beforehand on how to find the apartment. After check-in, they left you in peace, but it was clear how to get in touch if needed. The bed was larger than a standard double and very comfortable. The shower and bathroom were spotless and modern — which is always a big win for me.

Not an issue, but the only very minor point worth mentioning is that the window opens directly toward another building — which is quite typical in Italy where properties are close together. That said, it's easily managed by closing the blinds. The apartment is well-equipped with shutters, a sheer curtain, and a blackout curtain, so you can maintain full privacy and still get a good night’s sleep

Italian family life in old town - perfect

Perfect location in the old part of the city, exceptional breakfast and super friendly owner. We went there on our honeymoon and will definitely come again.

Perfect stay near the Bernina train

A beautiful location, very clean and with comfortable beds. Situated just a 6-minute walk from the train station where the famous Bernina train departs. There are restaurants and cafés nearby (I recommend Antica Osteria dell’Angelo), as well as markets. Alberto, the host, is a very pleasant and welcoming person. He greeted us and provided all the details for a perfect stay, and recommended what to focus on during the Bernina trip. Additionally, as a surprise, he offered us breakfast at no extra cost. Thank you!

Very Pleasant Accommodation

The breakfast room was thoughtfully stocked with items for a tasty continental start to the day. Juices, cereals, Milks, biscuits, breads, coffee machine, preserved fruit, some gluten free and lactose free items. The bedroom had enough space for a short visit and a comfortable bed. Albert gives helpful information about the area and places to eat and visit. We would stay here again easily.

We didn't realise that 2 of the rooms had a shared bathroom, however fortunately no one else was there during our stay so that was OK.

The best place in Tirano

I totally agree with the previous opinions. This is one of the best places I have found on Booking. The host is very friendly and gave us a lot of useful information concerning Tirano itself but also the trip to St. Moritz. There are a lot of different snacks in the common breakfast room including lactose free yoghurts, rice milk or gluten free products. The room is quite big and the bed is comfortable. In the bathroom you can find different cosmetics and generally the place provides everything you need for a shorter or longer stays. It is also important that it's located in a nice part of Tirano and not far from the station.

Everything, I’ve never stayed in a hotel which provides everything exceeds my expectations ( I’m a picky person when it comes to hotels) from facilities to staff. It was a great discovery, I wish all the hotels can offer such service. Great value of money, highly recommended!

Breakfast was a basic but adequate self-service affair. The owner is wonderful and very understanding and obliging. The room is huge - enough space for belongings for a 2 week stay to be put away and for the suitcases to be stored without getting in the way. Shower was exceptionally clean - in fact it was the cleanest hotel/B&B that we stayed in during our month away (6 hotels). We found a lovely restaurant - the Merizzi where we enjoyed some fabulous food. Bonus - this hotel is handy for the Bernina Railway which we used to reach our next destination. Terrific views.
