Friendly staff and good location but Olympian price gouging

Great location in town. Staff were uniformly nice and helpful. Parking fee was reasonable (10€ for uncovered parking in a nearby lot).

The single economy room was tiny. TV remote power button inoperative (but channel and volume buttons worked). Price felt like gouging due to the Olympics.

Tirano great. Corona Hotel a dump.

Staff were nice, helpfuland pleasant. Location was good.

Extortionate pricing for one night with no breakfast and no tea/coffee making facilities in room. Overall room was dated with very poor shower/bathroom facilities. No soundproofing between rooms, could hear guest next door talking on phone very clear. Got to the point of either chapping his door to tell him stop talking, or, phoning reception. Won't be back.

Do not stay again

The apartment had a lot of things the need to be fixed, support for personal items to be used in the bathroom are broken. The douche did not had enough hot water. Asked for two single beds in one of the rooms, despite the receptionist informed about attending my request by arriving in the room there was a matrimonial bed. Breakfast were not so good.

Location was one thing we appreciate, there is no more good things to say.

Poor value for money despite a convenient location

Excellent location and spacious room.

The room was very old, with poorly insulated windows that let in cold air. The radiators were warm but rusty and dirty in some areas, and the room temperature could not be regulated. The furniture was very dated and worn. The bathroom was tiled, but the shower and sanitary fittings were very old, with mixers and showerheads heavily worn by limescale. Cleanliness was not satisfactory: in the light, the bathroom tiles had splashes and fingerprints, and the same was true inside the shower. The floor was not very clean either, my black sock picked up hair and dirt. There were no proper curtains, only non-blackout panels that allowed light in at night and, during the day, made it impossible to have enough natural light while maintaining privacy. The wooden room doors let through every bit of noise from neighboring rooms. Breakfast was poor, sweet-only, with no sign of an international breakfast (not even scrambled eggs or bacon), despite costing €12 per person. It may be suitable for a very quick stop in Tirano, but the value for money is extremely poor.

We loved it

The location is excellent, it’s about 3-4 minutes walking distance to the train station, many shops, restaurants, Bars just outside the hotel and near by, the view to the white snow mountain from the window was absolutely stunning, the breakfast was excellent, comfortable mattresses and pillows, very kind staff, in general we loved it and highly recommend it 😁

The room was very cold even with the heater on which was very uncomfortable for us!!

Room is a bit of a walk from the entrance. Dusts in the ventilator, somewhere in the wc. Both my partner and I had allergies and we can sense it was coming from somewhere. We traced it and to our shock, it was around the frame of the door and in the wc it's on the hard to reach vent. 💀

A very last minute booking as we changed our plans. From looking at the online photos, we clearly had the room that was in desperate need of refurbishment. Staff were excellent, location was great, but be very careful when selecting a room.

Stayed here for convenience due to an early departure on the Bernina Express. The hotel was basic but clean, and it worked fine for a quick overnight stay. Nothing special, but the location made it a practical choice. Ideal if you just need somewhere to rest before an early start.

We were looking for a budget hotel close to Tirano train station to catch the Bernina Express next morning. Location wwas great. It was about 10 mins walking from the station and it was not a problem for us with two large suit cases and one carry on and a few back packs (we are a family of 3). We also loved the breakfast. The food was excellent and the timing worked for us. We could have breakfast and comfortably walk to the station to cath the train. The staff were nice and helpful.

The room and the bathroom were really small and not the cleanest. However, it is probably good value for money considering the location and the breakfast. If someone is looking for a budget hotel to stay near the station and isn't too picky, it may work well.

Perfectly located in town, close to the train station and plenty of restaurants and only a short walk from the old town. The room had everything we needed and was clean and secure. The children appreciated having their own single beds instead of having to share. Great view from the room too.

Location is good. Just 5 min from the train station. The room is small but for a given price (incl breakfast) i think it is decent. The hotel could be good if you plan one/two days stays. The staff at reception was friendly. The breakfast was good (again for a given price).

Toilet is too small. The shower panel is surely uncomfortable even for the person with avg. body size. The sound proofing is bad. I could hear the noise from outside and neighboring room. Hence, for a short stay it is fine.
