Centro Vacanze La Limonaia

I stayed with my man at La Limonaia for a week. The whole facility is so old, outdated and dirty. At some point our air conditioning didn’t worked at all which we mentioned on the phone to the front desk. The receptionist suggested for us to use a ventilator and asked us to pick it up from the reception lobby. As if it wasn’t enough burden enough that the airconditioning wasn’t working, we would have to pick-up the the fan from upstairs and walk all the way down to the reception. There wasn’t an elevator from our building which means we would have to walk about 3 floors down the hill. The toilet ventilation also didn’t worked properly. It barely ventilated and it smelled like there was a dead rat inside the pipes. The whole apartment was so dirty we even had to buy wet wipes to disinfect the surfaces, specially the toilet. And mind you, you need to pay 40€ for the cleaning service. I doubt they even cleaned the apartment before we arrived. Don’t be fool by the photos on their website or online. Our accommodation didn’t nearly looked as new and modern as what you see online. The apartment is so old we even found a handwritten letter from Napoleon in one of their drawers😆. All jokes aside, our disappointment didn’t stop there. The staff is super unfriendly and passive aggressive as if any question you ask is already too much to ask for. Not service oriented at all. The only positive on this place is their location which is on top of the hill. The view from the room is stunning and the pool is a plus. They also have a gym and a wellness area. Unfortunately, this area is also so outdated that the gym equipments were almost falling apart. They do have a wellness area but what they didn’t mention online is that it is not included in the price you pay for. You have to pay additionally for the entrance. All in all, we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is expecting a middle class 3* hotel. It gives more of a camping vibe rather than a hotel facility.
