Fantastical and lovely hotel, highly recommend!

Outstanding and beautiful hotel on the lake. The staff is top-notch. The owner checked us in and even drove down to pick us up in Tirano when we couldn’t find the bus late one Sunday night. He also refused to take payment for that. Wish we had had more time there. We hope to go again someday.

All in all a great experience well worth the price.

Everything is very clean and neat throughout the hotel premises. Stunning views onto the Lago di Poschiavo. Incredibly friendly staff. Also very flexible with checkin formalities etc. Free public transportation available in the whole Val Poschiavo.

The breakfast is good but a little bit basic with not too many options.

Understated brilliance.

I come from England where we have this concept of good or bad service, which is in essence an opportunity for the customer to throw a tantrum. In Le Prese I discovered a different paradigm - perfection of presentation and taste can be an art form. What am I talking about? I’m talking about how this great hotel in its iconic lakeside location has moved with the times in keeping with its heritage. I’m talking about the cheerful dedication of the staff. I’m talking about the perfection and attention to detail of the cuisine and about the devotion to local sourcing. Ok that’s what I liked about it.

If you find the perfect hotel you’ll spoil it by checking yourself in. The only thing I didn’t like during my stay was the presence there of my own persona.

Enchanting property, restored in recent years with exquisite taste, maniacal precision, and philological attention to the territory and the past of the house. Superior hotel in everything, from the common sections of the villa to the delightful bungalows; from the garden to the restaurant; from graphics on the walls to cleaning. Impeccable staff. The legendary Rhätische Bahn stops right at the door and takes you upstream or downstream in an instant. Who could ask for more? Paolo Magrassi

Superb

Gorgeous location at the lake side. Surrounding park with old trees. Nice architecture of the hotel and terrace as well as the interior. Particularly I loved that the kitchen was placed in the ground floor with lots of natural light for the staff. It’s remarkable that the owner cared to create excellent working conditions for his employees. Dinner and Breakfast were excellent and staff was responsive and friendly.

Just great: the huge park, the oniric terrace, the lake view and, last but not least, the beautiful neoclassical hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are large even the single one. Numerous sport possibilities and cultural activities in the surroundings.

A Pearl next to a Lake

Beautifully located next to the lake Boschiavo, this fully renovated hotel offers natural beauty and full comfort. It has a great restaurant overseeing the lake and also offers wellness facilities. Personnel is very friendly and helpful: from front desk to cleaning team. It is strategically located to visit the wonders of the region too! If you are looking for a relaxing stay in and exciting location, this is the place!

Beautiful hotel and location. Food was spectacular and the staff incredibly friendly and supportive. The beds are individual mattresses and while very comfortable, a single mattress for the double bed would be wonderful.

We stayed at the Sara Lago bungalows. It was quiet and well situated in nature with the view of the lake and surrounding

Very well kept, clean, nice and tidy and secure. The bungalow had a homely feeling, all amenities were modern and the furniture, especially the bed, was very comfortable. The service at the hotel was very good and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake.

Wunderschönes Hotel, ursprünglich ein Kurhaus aus 1855, stilgerecht saniert und eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal, Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung und das Frühstücksbuffet ist einwandfrei.

Dass ich nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise bleiben konnte.

Un bel ritorno all'eleganza del passato

L'Hotel Le Prese è stato costruito a metà 800. Dopo fasi alterne, nel 2013 é stato completamente e sapientemente ristrutturato, mantenendo lo charme del passato. Ha un bel parco affacciato direttamente sul lago. La struttura è ben servita dai mezzi pubblici che si fermano a soli 200 m dall'Hotel. Colazione ottima ed abbondante e personale molto gentile e professionale.
