From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the incredible hospitality and warmth of this hotel. Everything about our stay felt thoughtful, genuine, and deeply welcoming. Our room was exceptional beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and with a breathtaking view of the mountains that we could never get tired of. Waking up to that scenery was pure magic. The overall vibe of the hotel is wonderfully traditional, full of character and history. You can truly feel the soul of the place in every detail, which makes the experience even more special and authentic. A very special mention goes to Woland at the reception the sweetest dog who instantly made us feel at home and brought smiles to our faces every single day. The breakfast was absolutely perfect, with excellent gluten-free options. As someone with celiac disease, it meant so much to feel genuinely cared for and accommodated without stress , something that is unfortunately rare and incredibly appreciated. We honestly don’t have enough words to describe all the amenities, the attention to detail, and the heartfelt hospitality we experienced. This was not just a stay, but a truly heart-warming life experience. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for everything!

Amazing views in the Swiss Alps

The breakfast at the hotel was very good, it had good variety and the croissants were amazing. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and they will help you with local recommendations. Super close to the train station. The room was very cozy and the views were incredible. Also, you can get a nice raclette dinner and authentic fondue cooked for you in the restaurant in the hotel.

Charming stay in a gorgeous part of Switzerland

Really kind team staffing this hotel throughout my stay — everyone was super helpful, despite my lack of Italian or German language skills. Appreciated the lovely balcony view and fresh air into the room every day, too. Cheese fondue was also super tasty, and the property location is fantastic: just minutes from the train station and about 30 seconds from the main town square so you're in the heart of everything without any of the noise or chatter.

This is a case of "you get what you pay for" — room is small and basic, but if that's what you know to expect: it's well-equipped and the warm hospitality are what really draw you in regardless.

Great. Above and beyond my expectation

Everything in this hotel is excellent as in excellent above and beyond my expectations. Staffs are very well coming and friendly. Breakfast is delectable with wide selection of great food. love the fruit jams, croissants and coffee are indulging. Rooms are well lit, clean and comfortable, wi-fi is strong and steady. How I wish I stayed longer. I went to Poschiavo for Bernina Express panoramic train experience. I did glacier express to St Moritz, came here thru ordinary train and go to chur the next day from here. I’m glad I did, its tranquil and serene place, small town but big enough to go around if you want to have a calm quiet moment to walk. Compare to lautherbrunnen and Grindelwald, Poschiavo gives you serenity. Next time I come back to Switzerland I will go back in Poschiavo and stay in Suisse hotel again.

Nice Clean Hotel in Central Location, good base from which to explore Val Poschiavo.

Hotel in central location close to most attractions in town and train station is just a short walk away, thus a good base from which you can explore Val Poschiavo with ease. Had a complimentary room upgrade to a much nicer room with splendid mountain views. 😍 Room was spacious and clean, especially liked having a Balcony and also Kettle to make tea. Hotel has a Lift so didn't have to lug heavy bags up & down the stairs. Able to stow luggage at Reception after Check-Out which was much appreciated. 😊

Most service staff here do not speak English so communication was a problem. Staff on breakfast duty seemed rather surly on both mornings, which did not make for a good start to the day... Could be due to language barrier, will probably have a more pleasant experience if you speak Italian or German. 😉

A place you’ll always remember.

From the first moment of entering the hotel, it was clear that the emphasis was on service and comfort to its guests. Our room, with its balcony view over the rooves of Poschiavo, was wonderful. The cleanliness and attention to detail could not be faulted. The breakfast, and the lady who took care of us, was exceptional. We felt not just well-fed, but well-cared for. We stayed two nights (and would go back in a heart-beat!) and the lady remembered exactly how we liked our coffee and eggs on the second morning. There was a welcoming feeling from first to last. Poschiavo itself is a quiet and very beautiful place - and the Hotel Suisse is only a few minutes walk from the train station. It’s simply lovely!

When I arrived, there was friendly man and calm dog in the reception. My room was upgraded from single to double for free, which was really nice. Breakfast was included and it was great. Not ordinary buffet, but instead they made everything in order. I ate really great omelette. There were also different kinds of cheeses and meats available.

I loved the view, the shower, the bed and pillow. The room decoration was really the coziest one!! The location was also great!

I didn’t like that they don’t offer service room. We were quite tired and didn’t feel like going out on a Sunday night to eat, so we went to the reception and they told us we should have booked our meal by the time of our booking and I guess I haven’t seen it, only the breakfast meal option. Anyways, I understand it is complicated to have the kitchen open on a Sunday night and out of skiing season so it’s alright, we totally understood, but it would be nice to have a few quick dishes like a soup or something that the staff can prepare easily and send to the room of the very tired travelers 😅
