A very basic hotel

Perhaps the strongest positive for this hotel/restaurant is the staff, they were friendly, helpful and very efficient. Always smiling and attentive.

As far as hotels go the accommodation at this one is as basic as it gets. I would suggest that this is en par with a hostel! The rooms are spacious, very clean with a basic wardrobe and 2 single beds. The bed linen and towels had a strange and unpleasant smell. The bathroom had “sachets” of shower gel, one glass and two towels each. A hair dryer is available but that was located in the foyer, I guess for shared use? The room certainly didn’t have one It is located directly next to the main road which is steep and until about 9-10pm it is very busy with traffic going both ways. You can expect a lot of traffic noise to wake you up from around 6.30am. On the plus side the views are very picturesque and parking is directly at the side of the hotel. Strangely the walls appear to be paper thin. We had a room upstairs and we could hear every word said by the two ladies staying in the adjacent room. In fact in the evening I had to go and tell them to speak a little less loud to save their embarrassment at breakfast. We could even see their room light shining into our room through the large split in the roof beam. The restaurant at the hotel offers quick and basic food from a limited menu but it was OK. A point to note is that food and drinks stop being served at 8pm. Breakfast was again basic with only cake or bread (not toast) with preserves or ham. Two choices of serial, orange juice, coffee / tea and yoghurt. That’s it!!!

Cozy, accomodating and clean hotel if you need to spend the night around the Bernina Pass

Very cozy hotel if you need to spend the night around the Bernina Pass, the rooms were comfortable, very clean, and the owner was so warm and accomodating. The abundance of wood made the interior ambient adequate to the location in the mountains. We absolutely loved the breakfast, very complete, fresh and served tastefully. Totally recommended!

There aren't many amenities around, which is to be expected being on the Bernina Pass. It's great for spending the night if you go hiking/skiing around the area.

The remoteness, surrounded by mountains was so peaceful and relaxing. The hotel owner was very helpful and friendly and her breakfast was delicious.

The beds were a little hard but very cozy room otherwise.

Mina did extra miles by helping to pick me at Poschiavo station when I could not contact local transportation to go to Sfazu in the evening. She also opened restaurant for me to have proper dinner when it already exceeded operations hour. I feel embarrased to trouble her, but at the same time, I am thankful to her. Not forgetting the room is very spacious with great view, clean and comfortable.

Posizione convenienza accoglienza

La titolare Mina ti fa sentire uno di famiglia non solo un ospite. Posizione ottima, camere pulite con wifi gratuito, bagno in camera tutto bene pulito e ristrutturato da poco. Purtroppo per ragioni di tempo non ho potuto approfittare pienamente della cucina, ma tornerò sicuramente per rifarmi.

Geweldig!!

Wat een fantastisch leuke locatie is dit voor een doorreis. Gastvrouw Mina is super goed bereikbaar bij vragen vooraf en heeft zelfs voor ons gekookt ondanks dat het restaurant gesloten was. De pasta was overheerlijk! De kamer was ruim en schoon. De WiFi is sterk genoeg om te streamen (want ja er is inderdaad geen tv) en het regende pijpenstelen toen wij arriveerden. Wie heeft er dan ook een tv nodig met het uitzicht van deze locatie ;)

Petit hôtel bien sympa et bien tenu entre deux lacets entre Poschiavo et Pontresina

Belle vue de la chambre (Lärche), propre et fonctionnelle, Mina est serviable et bonne cuisinière (dîner), bon petit-déj dans une salle boisée chaleureuse, bon rapport qualité-prix pour cet établissement en bord de (très belle) route (peu fréquentée début mars nous concernant) entre deux lacets entre Poschiavo et Pontresina.

Aucun problème in fine mais si l'on prend soin d'écrire 6 jours à l'avance "We will finally be 3 adults", on ne peut pas dire que ce nombre soit une surprise en arrivant :) Remarque générale : pas de problème grâce à l'anglais mais amusant qu'un professionnel du tourisme ne parle pas une seule des deux autres langues de son propre pays, la Suisse :)

Sehr hübsches Hotel und tolle Gastgeberin! Mit Familie am durchreisen für eine Nacht geblieben. Man fühlt sich echt herzlich willkommen. Lokalität super, Ausblick ist unglaublich, Parkplatz vorhanden. Mit so GEILEN Pastagerichten haben wir nicht gerechnet, unsere kleine Tochter hat von Gastgeberin Mina Brot und Butter ohne Ende bekommen :) Zimmer war sehr schön, gross genug für vier Erwachsene mit Koffern und das Baby. Es war ALLES sauber. Kleines Detail! Wir waren schon in mehreren Hotels, aber hier waren alle Fenster super sauber. Habe immer es Gefühl, dass die Fenster offen sind. Mina Danke, schöne 2nd Anniversary im Sfazù und weiter so!
