Übrigens: Die Führung um 14h durch den Gletschergarten kann ich sehr empfohlen.

The Albergo had lots of character as a former station. Corrine the host was lovely and helpful. It was in a lovely location and was able to walk to Alp Gruem from Cavaglia which was a great walk. Although uphill. It was also near the Italian border town of Tirano so could use trains easily and get a cheap coffee in Italy.
Poss the stairs up to the dorm could be problematic for some although Corrine kindly carried my bag and case up. They did have rooms on lower floor which looked nice as an alternative to book.

Kurt and Corinne were delightful. Our Room was very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
