Super clean, comfortable place in ideal place to enjoy hikes!

Super Clean, simple comfortable in an building with character. The place would be a great base to hike from in summer. Breakfast of bread, croissants, ham, cheese, Bio yogurt from the valley 😋 and excellent coffee. They have a small grocery for provisions and restaurant. Sweet quiet village with old buildings….a larger village, Poschiavo is nearby -4min drive or bus, with great restaurants, a beautiful village square and nice retail. Can’t say enough about Sarah, Mama and the other staff! Always made us feel at home!

The Hosts are very kind, very warm-hearted and very helpful. The Pension very clean and well eqipped. The breakfast they offer is awesome - it's very tasty and diverse. We really enjoyed our stay and we would definately go there again :)

Breakfast was very fresh, tasty and plentiful, all delivered with a smile and extra was offered. Welcome on arrival at hotel was super and we were checked in and shown quickly to our room.

Wonderful hosts, especially Sara, who has gone to great lengths to ensure the stay was delightful. Fantastic old house with modern amenities and cozy rooms, equipped with all the necessary facilities. Great breakfast with local dairy and baked goods.

Friendly and polite owner, Sara along with her mother and staff. Very attentive. Good breakfast. We had room 1. Temperature dipped so the room is cosy but if its warm summer, it can be warm. Nice shower. Interior well decorated and neat.

Wooden floors cracks when other guests walk around but it's ok. WiFi connection breaks down every now and then. Some places the WiFi works and some not.

Out of the 5 countries me and my partner have visited so far, and all the places we have stayed, this was by far the best place we have stayed in. Every criteria and hope we had was exceeded, the location is second to none with the alps climbing as high as the eye can see around the property, and regular trains taking you into Tirano or further up the valley. Price was exceptional for the quality of the room and service, speaking of which, we were greeted by the most wonderful host, offering to help in any way she could and telling us stories that left us laughing along, going out of her way to make sure our experience was incredible. The breakfast spread we had in the morning was glorious with local food and amazing service. If possible, would want to give this more than a 10/10 in every category, but instead all I can do is encourage anyone to go and stay in this wonderful place, a stop that is perfectly paired with the Bernina Express from Chur.

I am not used to writing comments, but i have to say that this place deserves your visit. The owners are really nice and when they say "our home is your home", they do mean it. Plus the place is really authentic, an old wooden Val Poschiavo house simultaneously serving as a hotel, restaurant, café and village shop, like in the 1950's. If you want to leave the 2020 world for the time of one night (or more), this is the place you should visit.

This was a beautiful and peaceful location. We had a very comfortable room with adorable details and a wonderful view. The attached market has wonderful local choices that we found very special to our stay. The owner also cooked up an incredible dinner that we were very happy we had the opportunity to experience. Perfect, traditional ,homely and very friendly!

Thank you Gabby we loved our stay with you and your team, you made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. The evening meal we had was exceptional. It is also a nice walk to Posche arvo to have a wander around and maybe a restaurant, we also walked towards the lake for more restaurants. We arrived on motorbike that used public transport to get us up to hike to Lake solar cell which worked perfectly and is a stunning place to visit.

The church bells may wake you but then we did have our window open!

Everything was perfect. The room was cozy, The breakfast and the dinner in the Restaurant was amazing. We had the chance to buy as well tastefull local products in the grocery store. El entorno es muy bonito y tranquilo. Dando un paseo llegas al Lago y también hay un autobús prácticamente en la puerta que te lleva al pueblo y también al lago. El personal muy simpático y amable nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos

En la habitación hacia un poco de frío y era agosto. En invierno no se si habrá algún tipo de estufa o calefacción
