A warm, charming Alpine stay with fantastic food and unbeatable hospitality.

We had a fantastic stay at Albergo Lardi. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy to offer advice or a smile. The food was excellent, local dishes all freshly cooked. Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the scrambled eggs cooked to order which were absolutely fantastic. Our room was modern and spotless, although the hotel still kept all its Alpine charm. It felt authentic and full of character, exactly the kind of place you hope to find in the mountains. The location was perfect too, just a very easy two minute walk from the Bernina Line train station. A wonderful stay and one we would happily repeat.

Beautiful traditional hotel, perfect to experience the Pischiavo Valley

Everithing was amazing. The rooms were very clean and they cleaned every day even if we stayed only 2 nights. The staff was very nice and accomodating. Very close to the train station and also to the lake. Breakfast was plentiful and diverse. You have a great view from your room to the mountains. They are very baby friendly and there is a small playground well maintained. One of the double rooms we had was in fact an appartment with a small living room and a bedroom, which was great since we had a toddler with us who sleeps early. There is also a lift.

This is nothing the hotel can change but the train passing just below our windows woke me up at 6:28 in the morning. However, it did not woke up my baby or the others in our party so probably I am too sensitive. I would recommend some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Could get something better for that money

friendly staff and parking available

the lady at the reception had messed up things and I got a room without toilet. At least they charged me accordingly. The hotel is in front of a very noisy road. The food at the restaurant was mostly decent, the bread wasn't fresh. The breakfast included just some of the very basics and strictly one croissant per person

Relax e montagna

Atmosfera e trattamento veramente familiare. Proprietaria e personale gentilissimi. Tanta attenzione verso gli ospiti ed inoltre accortezze nei confronti dei bambini sia in hotel che al ristorante dove si mangia molto bene. Posizione comoda per una delle fermate del Bernina.

Immer wieder gern!

Wir bekamen ein wunderschönes, frisch renoviertes Zimmer mit Bad. Wir kamen sehr spät an und bekamen dennoch noch jeder eine ordentliche Portion zum Znacht. Und trotz dass wir fast zu spät zum Frühstück kamen gab es noch genügend Auswahl, vorallem auch mit regionalen Spezialitäten. Ich war schon ein paar mal hier und freue mich jedes Mal aufs neue, danke Paola!

Top hotel!

We hebben hier 2 nachten gelogeerd. 1 nacht voor onze huttentocht en 1 nacht na onze huttentocht. Beide nachten hebben wij heerlijk geslapen. De badkamer was netjes en schoon en het ontbijt was divers en heerlijk. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en 1 avond hebben we heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant.

Привітна і доброзичлива хазяйка, зручний номер, парковка біля отелю та напроти отелю. Отель знаходиться біля живописного озера. Є ліфт. На першому поверсі є ресторан. Зручне ліжко. Вночі доволі тихо, хоча отель знаходиться на центральній вулиці. Сніданок в стилі шведський стіл, смачний.

Не змогли ввечері скористатися рестораном. В 20.40 нам сказали, що кухня закривається. Так як сил шукати щось інше вже не було, то спати лягли голодні.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene, tutto lo staff Gentilissimo. Posizione perfetta per passeggiate e treno del Bernina.

Il Bernina: Esperienza carina ma mi aspettavo molto molto di più

La proprietà considera la mezza pensione con solo un pasto (pranzo o cena) mentre la colazione l’abbiamo dovuta pagare in aggiunta, a parte … i prezzi sono un po’ alti (1 litri di acqua euro 8,50) in rapporto alla location.

Gutes Hotel, super renoviertes Zimmer

Personal sehr nett. Unser Zimmer war neu renoviert mit tollem Bad, super Betten, es war groß, leider ohne Balkon. Es gibt auch einige Zimmer mit Balkon. Wenige Gehminuten von der Bernina Zuglinie gelegen. Allerdings ist es besser, wenn man an den Startpunkten Tirano, St. Moritz oder Chur einsteigt, da dort die Chancen am besten sind, gute Fensterplätze zu bekommen. Gutes Frühstück. Restaurant im Haus, wir haben aber in Tirano gegessen, weil wir eh am Abend dorthin gefahren sind.
