5 out of 5 stars! Rustic vibes with Amazing Views

We love the hospitality of the owner Andrea and how he cares about his guests. He goes beyond and is very flexible in the check in. The place has a very rustic vibe and amazing views!!! We were very much impressed of the little touches in the place that makes it very cozy. We also love the water being potable. There is no AC but no bother since it was cold at night of our stay. Stay was short but fantastic.

Only that there is no available quick place to eat nearby when its already past 10pm.

Brilliant!

Only a short walk from the town centre on a quiet road. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and there is a lovely terrace above the property. Andrea is a great host and he gave us some helpful suggestions regarding transport, places to eat etc. The breakfast is fantastic with great coffee, and fresh local pastries, yoghurt etc. We would love to stay here again!

Amazing little stay, perfect for a night before the Bernina express.Wish we could have stayed longer

Andrea was a perfect host, it’s a beautiful place and the attention to detail was lovely. He went out of his was to make it special as it was our anniversary, and even started breakfast early so we could make the train.

Note there are a few steps to access the place, but Andrea took our bags and it was no issue, and a lift inside. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Wonderful stay in a home away from home

We loved absolutley everything about this property. The building is beautifully restored with a great history behind it. Andrea was the perfect host - friendly, accommodating and so helpful. We felt like we were staying in a home away from home. The room was very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). The breakfast was fantastic. It was in a great location - only a 10-15min walk from the train station and a few minutes to local restaurants. Highly recommend this property.

It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening after taking the Bernina Express during the afternoon.

It is very pretty and quaint and so peaceful and quiet. Andrea is very friendly and gave us lots of advice on where to go and what to see. There is also a lovely view over Tirano from the Terrace.

Fabulous Property! Fantastic Host! Tirano is heaven!

Andrea was an amazing Host! You will not be disappointed! Beautiful Property with a garden! Very comfortable short stay! We will plan a longer stay next time! We left early for the Bernina Red Train, so missed the breakfast! Tirano is Heaven on Earth! Beautiful Cathedral!

Great value, lovely host in beautiful rustic accommodation

It was clean, room was large, bed was comfortable. We loved the view from the balcony. It was about 5 minutes walk from the old town(which is gorgeous). Andrea was a lovely chap with lots of knowledge about the area. Very good value for money and did not feel like a hostel.

There isn’t anything we didn’t like really, but tea and coffee in the room would have been nice.

The breakfast of local cured meats and cheeses was amazing. Tarts, bread, and espresso drinks made by Andrea were exceptional as well. Cannot put into words how awesome the stay was! Andrea was the best and helped us plan the next leg of our trip. Currently staying on beautiful lake Como at his suggestion and regret nothing. Thank you Castello!!
