Just outside the Tirano Italian and Swiss stations. Perfect for connecting towards Milan in Italy or the Bernina line towards St Moritz in Switzerland. Lots of places to eat around. Super views from the balcony of our room on a clear morning. The hotel is old fashioned, but clean and comfortable. Check in lady was quick and efficient if curt. Heating did not work the first day, and the guy at the reception was quite confused about why. It did work the second day. Average breakfast, no hot foods except boiled eggs. Limited cold cuts. Canned fruit. Plenty of cheese and baked stuff. The lady serving coffee was rude, but maybe it was the language. In any case, location makes the hotel great.

Right opposite rail station for both arriving from Milian and getting the Bernina Express to Switzerland in the morning. Triple room was good size, mini fridge and nice bathroom. Breakfast from 7am which was great due to catching train at 8am. Overall liked it.

It is right accross the station. That is the only pro.
