The location is amazing - wonderful sunset and views. Checkin was an hour later than indicated on the booking.com form but no problem as we had a nice coffee on the terrace. The weather was luckily great. The rooms are clean, modern and comfy and seem to have been recently refurbished. The jacuzzi option was awesome.
Compared to other Berghotels, the dinner fell short of my expectations. I expected something more sophisticated. It felt more like targeted to hikers on the go. We also had one special menu because of allergies which were not that limiting and that menu got basically scaled down to a few green leaves for salad, a basic plate and a salad - which is VERY different from what I've experience in such locations and venues elsewhere. The same for breakfast. It seems to have limited options - more on the very basic side, and the staff doesn't refill automatically. If you ask for eggs, they will happily prepare them, but I overheard other people wondering about the breakfast choices as there is no indication you might get eggs, or possibly other food that is not displayed. The staff could be a bit more involved with clients. It might of course be that they had a long winter season and are just drained.

die Lage und die Ruhe sind wundervoll. Im Sommer gute Ausgangposition für Gletscher- oder sonstige Wanderung. Im Winter top zum Schneeschuhlaufen.
Die Betten sind sehr bequem.

Stayed for 1 night as part of trip on Bernini red railway, wanted to stay somewhere unique and the Berghaus is reached by cable car so it was an adventure.
Booked the hot tub as a special treat and it was amazing.
Small niggle, but pillow was a little bit lumpy.

• personale : cameriere di sala estremamente gentile
• extra (Jacuzzi): abbiamo avuto un disguido con la Jacuzzi (il meteo per nostra sfortuna non é stato favorevole, consentendoci di permanere solo 20 minuti) e senza ci fosse bisogno di farlo notare se ne sono accorti. Senza doverlo chiedere ci hanno proposto due soluzioni alternative, veramente ne siamo rimasti colpiti e ha cambiato molto la percezione del soggiorno, in positivo.
• Cena vegetariana ottima, con addirittura polpette di fake meat al posto del secondo di carne previsto dal menù e colazione molto buona
• pasti compresi: Non ho trovato scritto da nessuna parte che nella cena (compresa nella prenotazione) l’acqua fosse da pagare a parte (e da pagare cara).
• alloggio: Stanza un po’ datata (soprattutto il bagno), basterebbe poco per rendere più giustificabile il rapporto qualità/prezzo.
