The staff were absolutely impeccable. They were friendly, very attentive, very helpful and made us feel that we were the most important guests here. The hotel is also very beautiful and very comfortable.

Perfect choice for a stay in deep in the Alps

Everything. First, we were greeted each day by the charming hard working proprietor. We managed to dine in every one of the restaurants, each unique and great meals. The spa was a bit odd, the pool nice, the jacuzzi not hot enough (this was similar in other swiss spas). The location was incredible, with buses going to all the hiking/gondola options up and down the valleys. It was peaceful and elegant and we'd like to return and stay awhile.

A fabulous stay at a magical hotel

The hotel building is beautiful, almost magical, and in an excellent location for for both visits to St Moritz, the Bernina Pass, mountain hiking, etc, as well as walking into town. Parking is in the underground car park opposite the hotel and that was a bonus. We had our dog with us and the staff catered for that aspect of our trip wonderfully. The team at the hotel is fabulous - kind, friendly and efficient. I celebrated my birthday at the hotel and the staff made it a special day for me, from breakfast to aperitifs.

This was an exceptional hotel. Every detail was taken care of for us. From pick up at the train station to exquisite room to the spa. The owner was omnipresent checking on everything. We had a great time! Food was 5 star too. The view is breathtaking. Public transportation easy.

Amazing luxurious and fit for a prince.

Amazing palace which is a proper hotel- can be compared to the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. Lovely lounge with live piano in afternoons, heated pool, steam and sauna, excellent adn well equipped room with a superb view on two sides. The breakfast was a real treat with top notch quality, service and luxury exuding throughout the hotel. The gardens outside with the garden cafe was lovely each evening. It is a top of the line hotel with luxury and comfort every step of the way. My children were thrilled with the unlimited free minibar in the room.

Very few things actually: Single elevator; garage is across the road and not connected to the hotel tennis courts were non functional ( maybe too early in the season)

Magical Experience in Fairytale Surroundings

A Magical Stay – Exceptional in Every Way We stayed at Hotel Walther last night and it was, quite simply, exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly looked after – we were collected from the train station and personally greeted at the hotel by the owner, which set the tone for a stay that went far beyond our expectations. The service throughout was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. We were generously upgraded to a beautiful room with a view overlooking the mountains – a breathtaking sight to wake up to. The hotel itself is like something out of a fairy tale, full of charm and elegance. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide and delicious variety of options. We also enjoyed a massage during our stay – the therapist was outstanding, one of the best we’ve experienced anywhere. The spa facilities were fantastic, with a range of hot and cold sauna experiences that left us feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Every detail was perfect. Hotel Walther is a rare gem – luxurious, welcoming, and unforgettable. We’ll definitely be returning.

Amazing Hotel worth a Visit

The Hotel is amazing with beautiful ddcorations. The staff is always friendly and very caring. They get to know your likings and are so forthcoming. Every afternoon you can get cake and tea in the salon. The Spa facilities are very nice and clean. The food is amazing. I really liked how the owner Mr. And Mrs. Walther regularly came to ask if everything was in order. They are super friendly to dogs and even prepared a bed for our dog.

My family and I had a great time at the Walther. There was really not much to dislike. The room cleaning was very attentive altough we had twice to ask to come clean the room in order for us to let pur dog in the room. But nothing worth mentioning.

Simply wonderfull

From the moment you see the hotel and then step into the entrance lobby, one has the feelling of being in another, magical world. The elegance, light and design of the classy and spacious interiors and above all, the fantastic staff team and the way they make you feel welcome and special is immediately hitting you like a lightening and you can just leave all thoughts behind and relax. My first surprise was that the team recognized it's my birthday and offerred me the most fantastic gift ever - an upgrade to a suite in the Tower! Simply amazing experience, I will never forget it! The room has a breathtaking view at 180° on the mountains, on top of all the amenities you can think of and still the charm and magic of its history! Definitely a must try even if you've already been at Walther! A welcome note personalized from the owners and a very nice happy birthday decoration of the table at the restaurant were next. The amazing breakfast, the bars and the restaurant, the lobby/ lounge with refreshments in the afternoon and of course the incredible spa and pool areas...you'll not be ceased to be amazed! Thank you so much to the Walther family and staff team for making this such a fantastic stay!
