Fantastic to return for a short break

Location in Pontresina more low key than neighbouring St Moritz. Fantastic for the cross country trails.

Wonderful surprise, adore the hotel will definitely come back

I couldn’t stay in Saint-Moritz as it was a very busy weekend, so I decided to stay a little way out of town. The hotel was well priced, and when I arrived it was far smarter than I’d anticipated, with a beautiful view over a snowy valley. A special mention goes to Vasileia, who was on reception when I arrived and could not have been more helpful. To my great joy, she was also there the following morning and helped me find the best way to get to my destination. I’m a huge fan of both her and the hotel, and I very much hope to return.

Stunning hotel with history. Our room was in the new building, nice and spacious, modern. With the view of the mountains. Dining room feels straight from the magic mountain. Also loved the pool, especially during heatwave Nice bar with a view. Good food and drinks Free shuttle to the station Very good breakfast

The property is an absolute gem, with amazing views and beautiful interior decor. The rooms are spacious and ours had an amazing view of the mountains. The bar has brilliant cocktails and the restaurant food is delicious. The kids corner is great for small kids. The staff were very professional and accommodating.

The room was very warm due to the sun shinning there for so long, not sure what can be done about that though.

A hotel pearl in the beautiful Engadin, perfect for the whole family.

It’s a wonderful location, a beautiful garden, very nice and newly renovated lobby/reception/bar and a fantastic Jugendstil dinner hall. The rooms have excellent amenities, staff are very friendly and forthcoming. The breakfast and dinner are fantastic. What is great is the supervised kids club with many activities for children.

Magnificent location, very friendly staff, but MISERABLE FOOD PORTIONS

In sixty years of international travel, I have never encountered a hotel which served such miniscule food portions, especially for dinner. The manageress offered an unconvincing explanation that this was a hotel policy aimed at reducing food waste and that I could have asked the waiter for more. Really? It is a travesty of the hospitality for which the Swiss, like we Irish, are world-renowned, to place a guest in the embarrassing position of Dickens' Oliver, to have to say, "Please, sir, may I have some MORE......."

We had the best time ever! The hotel is amazing. There is so much to do, including outside swimming pool, large park surrounding the hotel, wellness area, great breakfast, room with fantastic views and much more!

Very ornate and opulent feel. Great location and accommodating staff.

The room I had wasn’t great. It was good sizing but felt like something out of communist Russia. Horrific red carpet and the furniture must have also been from a similar era. Real shame as the hotel looked great elsewhere and the location was good.

The breakfast was plentiful and very satisfying. The staff was very friendly and we had very nice stay. The location and especially the dinner are exceptional. There are plenty of spa facilities, a large garden and bicycles to rent.

Das Saratz ist ein sehr schönes Hotel! Das Frühstückangebot ist sehr vielfältig & sehr lecker und wird in einem schönen Saal serviert. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr grosszügig gestaltet und lädt ein zum Entspannen. Auch die gebuchte Massage war hervorragend. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Wir gingen auf die Langlaufloipe, die ganz nah und gut zu erreichen ist.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel im Jugendstil Charme

Sehr zentral gelegen, sehr grosses Zimmer (wir hatten das Komfortzimmer Südlage) mit Blick gegen das Rosegtal, alles sehr sauber. Wunderschöner Frühstücksraum. Angestellte sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Unser Zimmer war im ‚Neubau‘. Die Einrichtung ist eher nüchtern und zurückhaltend.

Die Lage und auch das Ambiente des Hotels ist sehr schön. Das Frühstück könnte nicht besser sein. Das Personal ist international und sehr zuvorkommend. An der Bar gab es am Abend immer dezente live Klavier Musik.

Die Zimmer im " alten " Teil sind etwas spartanisch. Ein paar schöne Bilder an den Wänden würden die Räume aufwerten. Die Rezeption könnte zum Teil fundierter Auskunft geben (Liftkarten, Laden von E Fahrzeugen, Bussverbindungen).
