Great Stay!

The restaurnt staff wr great too. I LOVEthis hotel ! VERY convenient to ST Moritz!

Central, comfortable, welcoming.

Breakfast was amazing! Location excellent, and pick up / drop off from and to the bahnhof was a nice touch.

We loved everything, however felt it would have been nice to have a tea/coffee station in the room as well as a small fridge/minibar. We love to drink tea in the mornings/evenings. Thanks!

Despite a large, newly renovated suite, the stay was negatively affected by pervasive fryer smells, a chaotic breakfast

I liked that the suite was spacious and relatively newly renovated.

The hotel had a pervasive deep-fryer/kitchen smell in the common areas, though fortunately the room itself was not affected. The breakfast room was chaotic. The food pickup area was far too small and poorly organized, with guests pushing into each other. One woman spilled juice on me and ran off, and no staff member offered any help; one even laughed. In addition, only one elevator was in operation, which created a bottleneck.

Location. It was close to the Pontresina train station. With complimentary ride to or from the station

Very Disappointing Stay Unfortunately, my stay at Sporthotel Pontresina was a very unpleasant experience. From the moment I entered the room, I felt uncomfortable. The room was dark, poorly ventilated, and felt stuffy. To make matters worse, the heater was not working, which made the stay especially uncomfortable. The dining experience was equally disappointing. The food quality was so basic, and the service was extremely slow. We waited nearly an hour to be served, which is unacceptable for a hotel restaurant. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. They came across as rigid, unhelpful, and unfriendly, which made it difficult to raise concerns or feel welcomed as a guest. Overall, this was a horrible stay and far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.

The best location & reasonable hotel @ Pontresina

Excellent service, good selection of breakfast, especially bread & cheese. Clean & comfortable room. Complementary van service to/from the train station. the Mountain Railways Included Pass @ Engadine was very useful.

The sport bar can be very busy, not enough staffs at the bar.

Excellent service in an excellent location

The location was excellent as well as the amenities for adults. The Wellness center offered everything you could want after a long day in nature. The open hours for the Wellness center were shorter than one would expect. The SportHotel was lacking in amenities for children, however there was an offer for a discounted rate for a family pool a short walk from the hotel. The discounted rate to rent ebikes directly from the hotel was a pleasant surprise as well as the Swiss pass for transportation on the rail, bus, and ski lifts. The breakfast had many offerings and everything was very tasty. The restaurant SportStübli had excellent meals. The SportHütta's food was mediocre and I did not prefer to eat there again. The room was very spacious and clean. The mountain view from the room was very pleasant. The bed however left me with a stiff back. When I asked the staff if there was anything we can do, they offered to flip the bed from firm to a softer mattress. Overall staff was very friendly and always offered a lending hand.

Short hours for the Wellness center to be open, the spa tub did not work at all during our multi day stay. No amenities for children. The mattress was not comfortable after a few days. The SportHütta's food was bland and the offerings were limited.

Superb

Breakfast starts early (7 am) with a great buffet. The option to eat breakfast at Alp Languard is cool. Good food available for dinner. Bike storage and cleaning station very useful. Location of the hotel is great. The Engadin Card with public transports and cablecars was included. We never used the car to go anywhere and we payed 26.- instead of 105.- for all day bike tickets up to Piz Nair!

We didn't like the soft bed and pillows. Parking costs extra. There could always be more space for storing (sports) clothes in the room.

The staff is just some of the best you can find in Switzerland. Amazing breakfast buffet. Incredible spa facilities and convenient parking area.

Some people of the staff are not customer oriented. They pretend not to speak Italian and not to understand Italian, but It Is not true. Actually they did not take care of customers because of this and for a 4 stars hotel this Is absolutely intolerable. We expected a Better service We expected a Better/richer breakfast too. My wife made the reservations, so I wasn't thinking much about the breakfast that they were going to serve. It was the best breakfast setups that I experienced. Everything was exceptional but not fussy.

I ran out of room on the what I liked section - they had lockers for putting stuff in (lots of room) so you could check out but still experience the wonders without worrying about your luggage/backpacks

Amazing stay in Pontresina

The staff were very welcoming and professional. There was a shuttle bus that pick us up and drop us off at the train station. The ambiance and layout of hotel was fantastic. The restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing - food was delicious.

The indoor spa was a bit small, and could be cleaner, the hammam room didn’t work
