-great location, 5 minutes walking from the Train Station (Celerina is super close to St Moritz by train or bus) - clean -very nice lady from reception, check in was super easy and fast -good breakfast -they also have a bar open in the evening -beautiful view

-it was cold at night and we could not increase temperature (main issue) -a minibar for drinks would be useful in the room PS: at breakfast you could boil the eggs instead of letting guests do that (every time we put an egg to boil when we came back with the buzzer to get the egg it was gone, even if you have the colors, guests don t understant how it works. I quess most people end up eating uncooked eggs 🤪) It’s a minor and funny aspect

Great place for cyclists and bikers to overnight or use aa a base to explore.

Location, friendly and helpful receptionist / manager, bike room, room size, excellent beds for tired cyclists, cleanliness, breakfast.

It would be an extra bonus if there was something to lock bikes to inside the bike room. Bikes can get stolen from any bike room.

I would give this is a miss.

Jessica at the reception was very polite and helpful. She tried to make the best of the situation. she was actually very helpful in ensuring that our needs are met. I would call her out as the only good part if the experience The b’fast spread is quite ok as well.

The rooms are not the most comfortable, the overall look and feel of the property is quite jaded and certainly not a place where I would have liked to stay on a vacation. Maybe it suits some people who just need a convenient place to rest for the night and have other activities planned for the day, skiing, etc. All rooms come with only single beds, there is no concept of a double bed. The property gave me a feel of a youth hostel kind of feel. like I said earlier, it might suit some people, but, it was not what I had in mind, esp. with the rate they charge!

Exactly what I needed - I didn't need any spectacular luxury, but got great value for what I got.

It was great value - nothing spectacular but it really hit my needs for the trip. Bike storage while there and luggage storage on the day of departure was really helpful. Bathroom and shower were well maintained and great after a hard day on the bike.

For the money - not much. The breakfast offer is good, but not amazing, but it would be hard to improve this in a way everyone would like.

A little gem of a hotel so very close to all the action!

Amazing location (less than 150m to the ski lift) and covered parking included. Modern, well-appointed rooms which have clearly been built with quality in mind. Exceptionally clean and run by a fantastic team. A great selection of items for breakfast (continental) and a more than adequate evening meal service (albeit with no table service and limited options). Finally, the option to buy discounted ski/local transport passes, plus the provision of a ski-room and some spa facilities (sauna, steam room) is a real plus for those who intend to hit the slopes. Simply put, if you’re looking for value for money and a nice play to stay around St Moritz, I can highly recommend the Alte Brauerei!

Just two minor points: - Very narrow double bed - this is not a major issue but might come as a surprise to those who are used to a king size bed or larger. - Although the food offering was more than adequate, the set up of the dinner service could be better explained to guests - posting the menu outside the restaurant instead of on the counter would be helpful and give people more time to make their choices.

Very over priced, unfriendly staff, inflexible check-in time

Facilities are modern, easy parking garage. Has a playroom for young kids. Location is good, can walk to the gondola. Nice town.

Check in is limited to 16:30-18:30, this really means no one is around to help afterwards. When booking it asked what time we'd arrive, I chose 19:00-20:00. Received a response back, request declined, no other feedback. I wrote 2 emails, no response. This was a non refundable booking. In the end they left a key on a chair but no note of where the room was, it was in a different building with no way of knowing without asking someone. I had requested a baby bed for the room, it was not there. As no hotel staff on site, I left a message with the reception, never a response. Had to ask a waitress to organise it who was stressed out. All of this for a basic room that cost +300CHF a night for 2 adults and 2 kids (toddler & baby) not including half board. A 3 year old is charged as an adult :o . The room was uncomfortably hot, not able to self regulate the heat. No one ever welcomed us even after I dropped by the front desk in the morning. To top it off, all tables had names on it and even after 3 nights they never sorted a table out for us and had to reuse someone else's. Breakfast buffet was not kept replenished. For that much money I expect a lot more. Also for skiing with young kids please be aware the kiddy hill close by with the magic carpet is for ski school only. Even if they are not using it, you're not allowed on the lift so have to walk the kid of the hill.

Non è mia abitudine scrivere recensioni negative, ma in questo caso farò un'eccezione in quanto siamo rimasti delusi e amareggiati per come il personale ha gestito le nostre osservazioni e richieste. È importante specificare che ho soggiornato in questo Hotel per una settimana con mio figlio e quindi la predisposizione all'adattamento era molto alta fin dall'inizio. Abbiamo scelto l'Hotel per la sua posizione strategica vicino agli impianti sciistici e basandoci sulle fotografie pubblicate su booking. Prima di partire ho deciso di chiamare l'Hotel per accertarmi che la camera scelta fosse sufficientemente grande per ospitare due persone che dormono in letti separati e che portano con se l'attrezzatura da sci per una settimana. Mi è stato garantito che la camera fosse grande e che non avremmo avuto alcun problema relativo al confort richiesto. Così non è stato ...

la camera non era neanche paragonabile a quella delle foto che sono attualmente ancora pubblicate su booking. Alla mia rimostranza mi è stato risposto che le foto non corrispondono a nessuna stanza del loro Hotel. Ma a parte questa risposta che ritengo assolutamente fuori da ogni logica relazionale, la camera era talmente piccola che i letti singoli non sono riusciti nemmeno a separarli. Inoltre l'armadio era talmente piccolo che abbiamo vissuto con tutte le attrezzature da sci per una settimana sull'unico tavolo della stanza. Immaginatevi la confusione e il disordine. I letti sono scomodissimi, il materasso è sfondato e la struttura deteriorata come buona parte della struttura alberghiera che necessità di una maggiore manutenzione (vedi foto allegate). Alla mia richiesta di sostituirlo mi è stato risposto che avrebbero informato la governante. Nulla di fatto è cambiato durante il soggiorno. Ad aumentare il disagio il caldo soffocante della stanza (la sera dovevamo svegliarci e aprire la finestra per far entrare aria fresca), la colazione molto povera (ad esempio l'unico succo era confezionato e d'arancia), la trascuratezza del personale e una totale mancata predisposizione a trovare delle soluzioni o perlomeno ad ascoltare il cliente. Ci siamo sentiti ignorati e per nulla considerati nelle nostre richieste. Viaggio tanto e vi posso garantire che il prezzo richiesto è almeno 3 volte il servizio che abbiamo ricevuto.

El personal, muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar. La ubicación es muy buena.

La cama es pésima, pedí una cama grande y eran dos juntas pero se separaban, hay dos almohadas no tan buenas. El desayuno no es muy bueno, solo había queso, jamón, mantequilla y mermeladas.
