This lovely old hotel is beautifully presented, comfortable, and located perfectly for views over St Moritz. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were attentive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay here after journeying to St Moritz on the Glacier Express.

Everything! The hotel had so much character and charm. The room and the balcony were amazing. Breakfast room had an incredible view and the food was nice! Staff were also friendly. Location is perfect!

A lovely hotel in a great location, just up from the main center. Elegant. Traditional. Comfortable. The evening staff (front desk and bar, and then breakfast) were lovely, and helpful, but...

To justify its eye-watering cost it needs to behave like a hotel in that price bracket. It should provide: - A modern bathroom, or at least one with a servicable shower - A plumber to stop the loo hissing and trickling all night - A day-time receptionist that is not surly and unhelpful

It is a good experience to stay in this historic building.

The location is only a few minutes bus ride from train station. Without the luggage, we walked through a parking garage that has escalators and elevator to get up to the upper shopping area and then walked a few minutes to the hotel. The view from the restaurant's patio is great too!

A wonderful place to spend time by the lake

This hotel has a great location and atmosphere. We spent our time there in peace and comfort. The restaurant and bar were friendly and memorable.

The approach from the station was a bit of a hassle, but it wasn't a big deal.

Generally Overpriced but okay for a single night stay.

Vintage feels and authentic old school vibes. Breakfast was good with beautiful views. Staff were courteous and friendly.

Felt overpriced for what the rooms were, outdated/old bathrooms, broken mirror’s shelves in bathroom, plenty of room to put away clothes in room but no place to hang anything in bathroom. Found hairs around the floors/bed area.

A lovely old hotel in the middle of St Moritz with lovely views over the lake - it was great to relax, take in the view while having a drink on the terrace.

It would have been nice if the outdoor furniture had cushions as there were none.

What a spectacular location for this old-world traditional Swiss hotel. Gorgeous lake view from our window, very comfortable bedding and splendid breakfast. Excellent staff and location sis perfect.

Incredible view from our room, breakfast was amazing, super comfy beds. Great location to centre and train station. They gave us a complimentary travel card which allowed us to get local transport/ cable cars for free!

Restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. We ended up eating there both nights. Room was comfortable and we had three big windows overlooking the lake.

Checked in late after a long day of travel and we’re delighted to be met at reception by a very warm and friendly host who also told us she’d upgraded us. Comfortable bed and room (with bath) and opened up the curtains in the morning to a spectacular view over the lake. Breakfast in a beautiful dining room. Lots of character to the building too.

It’s expensive but then so is everywhere in St Moritz!

Comfortable but pricey

We had an amazing balcony. The room was comfortable and clean. Barbara the receptionist was exceptional. Not only was she a polite receptionist but she also became a gracious bar attendant when the rostered attendant could not be found and an electrician when we had problems with our power. Well Done.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the views from bar and breakfast room are amazing. The set-up is an "old & beautiful style". The staff is very efficient.

I would have preferred they didn't have carpet on the bedroom floor.

Stay at Soldanella

At the hotel, people were nice and gentle. the view was amazing and spa was also great. And room was also clean.

Unfortunately, people was able to smoke in the bar and I could smell it while I was in a sleep. Concierge told me that they can't stop them smoking and for me, it wasn't a delightful experience.

For the cost, I was not pleased with the issues during my one-night stay.

The location was excellent, close to the train station and shopping.

The rolm was tiny and there was only freezing cold water to bathroom sink. Hot water tap did not function at all. No screen on window, so had a giant moth for overnight company🤨

A lovely place to stay.

The location was very good. We could walk to the main shopping district as well as the lake. Also a short taxi ride to the train station. We loved the mountain and lake view from our room - well worth a bit extra money. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Good stay for the night

Despite the unusual decor and people smoking in the bar/ lounge area the bed was really comfortable and although no air con it was cool enough to have the windows open and it wasn’t too noisy! The breakfast was great, good choice and in the dining area with a great view! The transfer to and from the station was handy and easy to organise, the staff were very helpful.
