Great accommodation in an excellent location

The location is excellent and our room had fabulous views of the lake and surrounds. The triple room was very comfortable and spacious and included tea and coffee (pods). Has a lift for your luggage. Staff were great, very accommodating and friendly. There is a large room with tables and chairs where you can eat your own food, play board games etc which was handy. Supermarket and bakery a short walk from the accommodation. Bus stop also close and handy to access St Moritz (including the train station) and other towns. Buses very frequent and also had an enclosed space so you’re not waiting in the cold.

Excellent location and amazing staff

Rebecca at the reception gave us a warm welcome, she was very helpful and kind. The hotel was in an excellent location overlooking the fascinating Silvaplana lake. There are fabulous restaurants just around the corner offering breakfast as well as dinner.

Zentral in Silvaplana, toller Blick auf See und Berge

Zimmer mit tollem Blick auf See und Berge. Busstation nicht weit, ebenso ein Volg für die Einkäufe. Sehr herzliches Personal: Mitarbeiterin an der Reception war super hilfsbereit und hat uns Kochplatte, Pfannen und Geschirr für die Selbstversorgung organisiert. Ebenso konnten wir am Abreisetag problemlos unser Gepäck einstellen. Herzlichen Dank nochmals, wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen!

Eher im hohen Preissegment (aber klar, es war Sportferien). Unser Zimmer hatte kein Balkon.

Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis hat für diese Saison gestimmt.

Die zentrale Lage, mit Bäckerei und Volg vor der Haustüre sowie die Anbindung an den ÖV. Das Bett war sehr gut und die Wohnung sauber.

Die Dusche/Badewanne ist viel zu klein und für einen behinderten Menschen schwierig zu nutzen, da der Einstieg zu hoch ist und es keine Sitzmöglichkeit gibt. Das Sofa ist komplett durchgesessen. Und es wäre schön, wenn noch 1 oder 2 bequeme Sessel zur Verfügung stehen würden. Die Möbel in Küche und Bad sind abgegriffen und bräuchten ein Update.

Jederzeit wieder

Wir hatten ein Apartment mit Bergsicht. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und bietet ausreichend Platz für zwei Personen mit viel Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Einrichtung ist allerdings etwas veraltet. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet nähe Busstation, Volg, Bäckerei-Café und Restaurants. Sehr ruhig. Grosse Tiefgarage. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir durften früher einchecken als vorgesehen. Ein defekter Haarfön wurde umgehend ausgetauscht. Wir können das Chesa Silva sehr empfehlen.

Schade, dass das Restaurant und die schöne Bar ausser Betrieb waren. Wenigstens ein Frühstücksangebot wäre perfekt. Die Warmwasserregulierung befindet sich etwa drei Meter von der Dusche entfernt, was etwas mühsam ist, wenn man die Wassertemperatur ändern will.

Gute reine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, sauber und freundlich, gewöhnungsbedürftiger Nassraum

Als reine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit jetzt im September perfekt. Zentral in Silvaplana gelegen, VOLG und Bäckerei/Cafe Grond um das Eck. Sauber und sehr nettes Personal, gute Tiefgarage. OeV auch ums Eck in alle Richtungen und viele Verbindungen (Sils-Maria, Maloja, Bergaglia, St. Moritz, Pontresina) Kaffeemaschine (Nespresso) und kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Wir haben im Cafe Grond jeweils Frühstück genossen und je nach Wanderziel Mittag/Nachtessen auswärts in Restaurants eingenommen.

Zu Beachten aber nicht änderbar: 1) Nasszelle mit Uraltarmaturen/Uraltkonzept + Badewanne nur schon zum Duschen sehr eng 2) keine Verpflegung möglich, das frühere Hotel Silva ist quasi geschlossen und gem. Personal wird dies auch in Zukunft nicht ändern. 3) Essen im Hotelzimmer für uns keine Option (kein Tisch, keine Stühle), man könnte im geschlossenen Restaurantteil im Parterre eigenes essen (OK gem. Personal, jedoch nicht kochen....) 4) somit ob Frühstück oder Nachtessen entweder Takeaway/Liefern lassen oder auswärts essen gehen. In der Winter(hoch) Saison kann dies aus Kapazitätsgründen im Ort und natürlich je nach Budget problematisch sein.

Hmmm, das Gebäude ist sehr alt, wahrscheinlich aus den 70er und seitdem nicht mehr renoviert.... im Bad muss man einen Hebel umlegen damit die Dusche und das Becken warmes Wasser hat... für den Preis eigentlich nicht akzeptablel....

Frühstück nicht inbegriffen. Hatte eine Kaffeemaschine und Geschirr. Doch leider keinen Tisch. Auch nicht ein Tischen. Musste die Tasse und den Teller auf einen anderen Stuhl stellen. Die Matratze war steinhart. Konnte keine bequeme Lage finden. Keine Nachtvorhänge vorhanden. Es hatte Läden. Diese liessen sich nicht vor das Fenster ziehen. DAs Zimmer war die ganze Nacht hell Das W Alan war so schlecht, dass ich keine Nachrichten auf dem I Pad schauen konnte. Kein Fernseher im Zimmer. Wäre alles egal, wenn der Preis angepasst wäre. Rezeption nur kurze Zeit besetzt.

Schöne Lage, jedoch viel zu laut

Das Haus war sauber.

Das Haus steht direkt an der Hauptstrasse und an einem Verkehrskreisel. Somit ist es zur See- resp. Straasenseite hin enorm laut. Zudem ist das Haus sehr hellhörig. Man hört jedes Geräusch, eine Trittschalldämpfung gibt es nicht. Ich werde kein weiteres Mal im Chesa Silva absteigen.

Sauber und zweckmäßig aber eher teuer

Sauber und gepflegt. Lage direkt im Dorf aber an der Straße direkt bei einem Kreisverkehr (Lärm bei offenem Fenster/Balkon). Sehr flexibel (konnten früher einchecken). Parkplatz pro Wohnung in der Tiefgarage vorhanden.

Straßenlärm, sehr kleine und enge Küche mit nur 2 Herdplatten. Kein Radio. TV gibt es nur im Aufenthaltsraum nicht im Zimmer.

Wunderschöner, ruhiger und entspannter Wanderurlaub.

Haben ein normales 2 Bett Zimmer gebucht und ein upgrade zum 3 Bett Zimmer bekommen. Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Wir hatte einen Kühlschrank, Kaffee Maschine mit Kaffee, Wasserkocher, Tee und selbst Teller und Besteck. Super ausgestattet für ein normales Zimmer 👍🏻. Betten waren auch vollkommen in Ordnung und Bequem. Zudem hatten wir eine tolle aussicht auf den See. Das Hotel ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen aber es ist alles sauber, funktioniert und wir und unser Hund haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Bäder sind nicht mehr auf den aktuellsten Stand, dass Wasser muss man extern auf die gewünschte temperatur einstellen, welches dann an allen Wasserhähnen und in der Dusche anliegt. Beim Duschen ist eine Änderung nicht möglich, ohne aus der Dusche zu gehen. Jedoch kommt man damit auch ganz gut klar.
