soundproofing in the bedoom substandard- could hear noise from adjacent rooms from early on - i think it was possibly just bathroom doors, putting things on surfaces etc but it transmitted through quite loudly.
I also did not appreciate being charged for a glass of tapwater with my meal at the hotel, since I was a resident and already paying for food and drink.

We chose this hotel because it is relatively close to the ski lifts of St. Moritz while being more reasonably priced than staying in the town itself, and we were definitely not disappointed. The hotel is lovely and full of authentic Swiss styling, featuring traditional wall hangings such as cowbells and natural wood accents throughout the property, which creates a warm alpine atmosphere.
The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and well heated, making the hotel both quaint and very convenient for a ski trip. One highlight was the clean and relaxing sauna, perfect for soothing tired muscles after a full day on the slopes.
Breakfast was also very enjoyable, offering a good selection of cereals, fresh fruits, sliced meats, cheeses, and other options to start the day well. The town where the hotel is located is charming in winter and ideal for a peaceful stroll.
Check in and check out were quick and efficient, the WiFi worked very well, and transportation to St. Moritz was easy thanks to a very frequent bus service. Alternatively, it is only about a five minute drive to the nearest lift.
Overall, this hotel offers relatively good value, comfort, and convenience for anyone planning a ski holiday in the St. Moritz area.
There is honestly nothing negative to say about this hotel, just a couple of helpful lessons we learned during our stay. The hotel offers discounted ski tickets for guests skiing in St. Moritz, and I would highly recommend taking advantage of this option if you plan to ski. The savings are noticeable compared to purchasing lift tickets directly at the lift stations. Just keep in mind that the offer is only valid for the number of nights you stay and for the number of guests booked in the room, so plan accordingly.
If you are driving a two wheel drive car, it is also wise to bring snow chains in case of a heavy snowfall. The roads in the area are generally maintained very well, but a major snowstorm can still create challenging driving conditions. Being prepared will make your trip far less stressful.

Restaurant was good. Good selection of wines.
Poor communication over when I should (must) take dinner. Shocked with the reaction of the staff - it was made clear it was my fault. No empathy. I won’t go back there again.
