Beautiful Family owned hotel in the picturesque town.

We were positively surprised by how lovely this hotel is. The location is perfect, the facilities and staff are incredible. Small details matter, like the shuttle to the train station, little welcome sweets in the room, coffee machine, and nice bathrobes. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar was really great with a great vibe. I hope to go back soon.

A real Gem of a hotel in a beautiful town

The staff were amazing and went out of their way to respond to questions and help us out. The rooms were really comfortable and had excellent bathrooms. They had emailed us before to find out the configuration of the rooms so it was great to find that our kids had a twin bedroom and not a double that often happens. You get a pass for the local transport with the hotel which was fantastic so we could travel around on the buses for free. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options for us to choose from. The hotel has access via its own underground tunnel to the local swimming pool with a fantastic outside heated pool. It wasn't too busy when we were there and a real treat for us and our daughter. They even arranged a free shuttle bus to the station on our last day which was brilliant.

Sophisticated Pontresina Stay

The hotel is modern and has an upscale ambience. Nice selection at breakfast, friendly and helpful staff at reception. Pontresina is small, so very easy to get around from the hotel.

The pillows were the thinnest pillows I have ever had at a hotel. The mattresses were okay, but very very firm - just a heads up for anyone who prefers a softer landing.

Great hotel in the town center

Perfect location in the town center; nice breakfast; generally friendly staff and nice room. As a plus, we could park the electric car in the garage and charge (at cost). Great bar and bar lady. All in all, great stay!

Certain staff at breakfast were particular (arrogance, doing a character after a request). This was later apologized for by restaurant manager and my wife got her decaf cappuccino as requested. For restaurant one needs to go to main street (2-5 mins. walk)

Great place for a nordic ski holiday

Great hotel with top staff in the middle of Pontresina. Superb breakfast buffet, spacious rooms with comfy beds. Top value for money. Waxing table with 2 Nordic profiles. Cupcakes and apples with water as a welcome gift. 🤩

Everything! Friendly, very welcoming and helpful manager and staff. Pontresina was a very clean alpine city with full flower boxes everywhere - so lovely! Good dining options and lots of activities nearby.

Uphill hike from train station - though a longer, less steep option was available. Taking the bus to Pontresina Post (as was suggested to us by the manager) was a great alternative for our arrival with baggage.

Room was extremely hot during the night. The double bed was actually two individual beds that were not joined in any way leading to a gap forming over night. how this was corrected by the staff once they were alerted to it.

The room, location, cleanness, services, staff helpfulness and kindness were above expectations. The access to pool and spa was the cherry on the top. We had a great time there! The location is also nice in the center of the village with many options to have a coffee/lunch/dinner/drink nearby. Great view of the snowed mountains. We got a free bus ticket by the hotel for the whole region valid throughout all the days of our stay there.

Beautiful hotel and staff - ask for room that doesn't face West if there in the summer.

Really nice place, stylish decor, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, bar on premises.

Room faced the street and it was sometimes noisy when the window was open. Since it was quite hot and there was no air conditioning, we needed the window open. Next time I would ask for a room that did not face the street.

Very annoying that Booking.com allows false advertising

info said it was just across or next to the main train station. in fact, it's a 10-15 min walk and we had large suitcases, a very early train and lots of cobblestone streets on the way. False advertising Also, the front desk person was clueless about local restaurants, getting a taxi, finding a bank, and when I left my phone she didn't bother to call my room. Then the front desk closes foro much of the evening and early am Quite disappointing! Room was small but fine
