Great hotel, great stay

Great traditional hotel with clean, comfy beds. Excellent breakfast. 20 minute walk from the main train station, quite uphill but the hotel will pick you up if you ask.

Excellent value for money in St. Moritz

Very spacious room (with a desk, several chairs and armchairs, a sofa bed and 2 TVs), with several large wardrobes (plenty of storage), a balcony (with chairs and a table), and an absolutely spectacular view over the Alps and the city centre. The bed was very comfortable and large (with separate duvets). The room heating, via radiators, worked perfectly (neither too hot nor too cold – ideal temperature). The bathroom was also very large, with a shower offering excellent water pressure and temperature. Wi-Fi was available for unlimited devices and was quite fast. Two large TVs with a reasonable selection of channels (not many, but sufficient). Plenty of power sockets throughout the room (including on both bedside tables). Daily housekeeping service with towel replacement (more towels provided than usual). A fairly good breakfast (not many options, but the available ones were very good) and a suitably sized dining room. The staff were especially friendly and helpful (they even lent us a plug adapter for a deposit, which was refunded at the end of the stay). The “Hotel Dog” was very friendly (extra points for the hotel!). Very quick check-out. Excellent location, as advertised, very close to the centre of St. Moritz (just a few minutes’ walk). The free train station transfer service worked perfectly; it was only necessary to send a message the day before arrival with the expected arrival time. The same applied on the day of departure. In St. Moritz, where prices are generally prohibitive, this must be considered a real find.

The shower had no door, which left the bathroom quite wet, but this is very common in hotels nowadays.

Superb!

They picked us up from the train station which is a great service since we came from quite a distance (8 to 10 hrs train ride). The location is quite and peaceful despite being close to the shops and St Moritz lake. They have a great restaurant too. Breakfast was included and the food was to our liking.

What a view!

We had a lovely big room on the 5th floor looking out over the town. Large bathroom so we loved the space the most after weeks of traveling. Lovely meal Christmas Day, the hotel dog was a hit too as we miss our! Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly.

Excellent! Wide variety of food! Breakfast staff insured that we had nice seating. Not shortage of food. Everything was replenished quickly! Overall impression is that the staff are highly trained and motivated, and professional! Every interaction was excellent!

I was very happy I chose to stay at the hotel

I liked being able to get a complimentary transfer from and the railway station. The hotel was quiet. All the staff were very helpful. The visitors card was very good and allowed me to travel to Corviglia for free. The maps and instructions about which bus to take that was given by the reception staff was very useful .

A bit of a farther walk away from the absolute center of town - but quite a gem. A free shuttle service runs from the train station and the staff are very kind and helpful. There's a nice pool area inside the building and the rooms are quaint and comfortable. The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side (compared to regular Basel or Zurich restaurants), but that seems to be standard for St. Moritz. Will stay again, we feel lucky to have found this place! (attached are views from our window)
