You can’t visit Ko Tao without staying at Haadtien resort. It located in the most beautiful beach in the island. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always willing to help us. The view is so amazing!!!!! Really recommend the place.

We spent 7 nights there and love the great service offered by the dining area - top marks to Su who is an amazing staff ever helpful and cheerful! Her energy is so amazing. The reception staff was also very cheerful as were the staff who carried heavy luggage up to our block! The beach is clean and water lovely. My husband and daughter chartered a snorkeling trip from the hotel area and loved the beautiful sea life as they hopped around different spots. The hotel is just over 10 mins from the pier where most ferries land. We took a cab (400 baht each way) to get massages and walk around/eat. The hotel will help arrange the cab. The only things the hotel need to work on is dealing with the sewage smell which is noticeable in our room’s shower area, and as we walk up the stairs in the block. Another suggestion is for more pillows or cushions for propping up when reading at night. Haadtien staff works hard to make us happy, we are so grateful and touched by how they even packed a breakfast for our early 6am departure to catch the ferry to the main Koh Samui island.

Beautiful hotel, the view is amazing. It is far from the main center and there’s limited shuttles, so that’s a down side. But the hotel itself, the beach and pools are amazing. Wifi is quite poor. Staff is so nice!

Your room could be a crazy amount of steps to get to. Ours was 205 steps up with no elevator. Not ideal if you left something in your room or are not in good shape! Literally had to bei n good shape to go to your room. Food was just awful! Bland, small portions and very, very costly. Drinks were also terrible. How can you butcher a Mojito so badly??? They managed!
