Very lovely staff

the location is super downtown, that was great. the beds were really comfortable and you see the most beautiful sunset ever. The staff was super lovely and the food at the restaurant was great.

We were informed that it could be noisier at night, which wasn’t a problem for us - but could be for others. The bathroom was quite small.

Nothing was ever too much to ask, and they really made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, otherwise I would have happily extended my stay for another week! It is completely clear to me why this hotel is always fully booked — it truly deserves its popularity. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality. Thank you once again for such a fantastic and memorable stay!

Dreamy stay in Koh Tao

Location of the hotel, right on the beach and in the middle of Sairee with all restaurants around the corner. The sunset view from our room was breathtaking. The staff was just incredible - everyone was nice, smiley, happy to help with any indication or piece of advice. They provided free transfer from/to the port. Good breakfast with one dish, cafe and juice included in the room rate. Great vibes and music in the cafe!

It was very noisy at night due to the beach bar next to the hotel, but the staff informed us in advance and provided earplugs in the room. Value for money was not great, we paid about 300€ per night (it was around NYE so we understand), but we found it quite expensive for the small and simple rooms you get with no services. We still recommend and would go back, thank you Blue Tao staff for the great stay

Location is amazing, right in the epicenter with beautiful view over beach and ocean. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful in all aspects.

High price in high-season, but this is subjective and honestly we found it absolutely worthwhile. Parties in Bar next door can get quite loud until early morning hours.

We were very close to a lively bar but had already been told about it. The hotel gives you ear plugs. Use them ! Definitely should not put you off though as it was wonderful.

Location is fabulous with the view from the balcony. But it was noisy into the early hours. The music from next door and groups of young people outside was intense at times. We put in the ear plugs and eventually got to sleep. If your under 30 I would imagine its like heaven. Our kids loved it. If you are in ur 50s and want a sleep then try somewhere else.

We loved our stay at Blue Tao, it was a very good location, the staff were lovely and they arranged a pick up and drop off to the pier. The room we stayed in had a gorgeous view of the beach and the room was comfortable.

The staff is so kind, the rooms not only clean but perfectly organized and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect- on the beach. You look out the balcony to truly the best view and the sunset was directly in front of our room. The breakfast is good and if you’re vegetarian you can always modify the order and they will make it happen. I fell in love with the place and definitely will come back and recommend!

Make sure you ask for a room without noise because we didn’t know that there is a bar right beside it, so people with sensitivity for noise will have a rough time. They do provide earplugs though.

Nice small hotel with insufficient value for money

The staff was nice, the location was the best. The room was clean and the balcony that is facing the ocean really added a lot to the room (we took the sea view room). The breakfast was nice, we ordered avocado and eggs toast every breakfast. Transportation on the island is difficult if you don’t rent motorcycles which we didn’t. No grab or bolt taxis there. The hotel arranged us their driver to get to beaches and back when we wanted which was convenient, and took 700 baht go and back. Also they provided us snorkeling equipment for free, and beach towels.

My biggest complaint is the value-for-money, we paid 800 baht per night which is a price you get much more for in other places in Thailand. It just doesn’t justify the price, it’s a small place with small rooms and small bathrooms, that are a little old.

A charming hotel in the heart of Koh Tao

A charming hotel in the heart of Koh Tao, right on the beach with an amazing view. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms with a good shower. Excellent and courteous service from the staff and a delicious and nutritious breakfast. Free shuttle service from the ferry pier on the day of arrival and to the pier on the day of departure. We enjoyed it. Highly recommended place.

Perfect location. The resort is right on the beach and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. Everything you need is there.

We stayed in city view rooms which are small, don’t have balconies and face the small alley behind the beach. It was very noisy from the evening until all bars closed at 2-3 am :( That’s why they provided 2 pairs of earplugs in the room. Light sleepers may prefer sea view rooms, but the price is double.

Great sunset beach views and location on Sairee

Very well positioned on Sairee beach. Easy walking to anywhere on the beach or walking street. Drinks and food offered throughout the day and at night. Breakfast views of the sea really good. Staff very helpful on Whatsapp. Breakfast despite only having 4 choices is actually ok. Sunset tables, beanbags and lighting really good as are the cocktails and beers. Can offer a free collection from the pier and return for a fee.

Rooms small and bathroom even smaller. Air con barely worked, must have been 28c+ in our rooms each night. Expensive hotel for what you get, but I think youre paying for the location. Hotel is in need of a spruce up, looking quite worn in areas. Sairee beach walking street is nice but scooters totally ruin it on a side note* Beach is nice to look at but its not a swimming beach as its shallow, full of sharp rocks & coral and boats.

Beautiful hotel on Sairee Beach

Hotel was very comfy and the staff were lovely. The TV had Netflix and Youtube and the home comforts were available. It was clean and in a really good location in Koh Tao just on Sairee beach. The hotel were also helpful in organising transfers from the port. We were wary when we saw some complaints about the breakfast but we think this may have been when the hotel was under construction. The breakfast was served in the hotel and was lovely with amazing views. We would definitely return.

The water temperature was hit and miss, often we couldn’t get hot water in the shower. It was also quite noisy at night being on the main strip, this was not a fault of the hotel though.

Clean & Comfy Property! In a Great Location

The room was nice and comfy with a large tv that had Netflix’s! Location was brilliant right next to restaurants & shops!

Our shower was hot/cold for the whole staff and the electrics went off one night for about 3hrs! Also we had food in the restaurant and the staff were very slow & missed our order, after ordering 3 times. I think this property could be lovely, with abit of work!

Terrible to stay and zero value to the money we pay

The view but you can have this in many other hotels along the beach.

Not the kind of room and service you expect to get for a room that cost per night like a whole week in a different place (more than $150 per night). The room is very small and the bathroom even smaller. In the shower was very poor with no hot water and very weak pressure - even though we asked from the reception to take care of it, it took them really long time and only managed to fix the hot water. The hallway was very stinky the whole stay. The breakfast was also very poor that in the second day we went out to eat.

The location of hotel is great meaning directly on the beach with beautiful view. Staff was nice and hotel clean. The hotel restaurant served delicious food and drinks.

The hotel is noisy as in the middle of "walking street with all pubs and restaurants" and we had a feeling of student dormitory with neverending party. So in case you look for a quiet place to stay for couple i would choose something different. On contrary if you love to be in centre of everything, with earplugs go for it.

there were two power cuts during our stay, these were dealt with very well by the lady who runs the place and they were obviously not Blue Tao’s fault
