Idyllic

The room, the view and everyone who works here is incredible. We had an amazing time ! If you’re worried about the location - no need! We didn’t rent a bike and the taxis the resort can organise are cheaper than you can get yourself, and cheap enough to get around. Plus if you’re not in the mood to go out you can order food for delivery so the location isn’t a problem at all. We had a really a great time and would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful, calm, clean, and comfortable

Beautiful views, stunning balcony, great shower, beds and sheets were SO comfy. They had good coffee in the morning. They provided a speaker to play music. Very calm and peaceful and private. Staff were so accommodating.

Nothing to not like. An added benefit would have been breakfast or some sort of restaurant with the resort but it is fantastic as is.

Beautiful stay

I will definitely be returning to Mae Ya Resort. From the moment you arrive, you’re warmly welcomed by incredibly friendly and helpful staff who assist with arranging private taxis and scooter hire, which is ideal as the island has limited public transport. The room was immaculately clean and felt very luxurious — I couldn’t be happier with my stay.

Amazing room and view, super clean, helpful staff.

Wow! First time I was sad to leave an hotel. We took the room with private pool and ocean view. Best view, super clean room. Ged from the reception is truly amazing, responsive 24/7 helped us with everything from taxis to booking massage to even clean aunts after we ate outside in the balcony and dropped some foods.

Need to get taxi every time you leave because we could use a scooter (don’t have a license) and the hotel is 20 minutes walk on mountain from places. Need to have breakfast offered too.

Beautiful stay on Koh Tao

Beautiful room with a breathtaking view. The pool is incredible and everything felt private and relaxing. The room service is the best we ever had! So attentive and the room was always spotless. The receptionist is great and found a perfect balance between interaction and privacy. She recommended a perfect beach and we always felt supported.

The only thing not perfect was that because of the wood doors its possible for little animals/insects to come into the room. We had ants the first days but they took care of it instantly and after that it was fine. You need to drive bike to stay here and as others wrote the road is extremly steep (don't learn to drive here). Location is great otherwise.

I loved everything. The nicest staff, cleanest room and spacious too. It has everything you need, with the nicest private pool and lookout over the mountains looking down to the sea. Staff so accommodating, easy to rent a scooter and to even get laundry done.

A hidden gem in Ko Tao, with a beautiful view.

We loved everything in our stay here. The view is amazing, the staff was so caring and great. The bungalow had anything we needed, so it has been perfect. The spot is so romantic!

Spectacular Hotel!

Fantastic hotel. Would highly recommend. The rooms were bungalow style so each room had its own private area. The bed was comfortable, the design of each room felt luxurious and the shower was spacious and modern. The private pool also felt brand new and we had a magnificent view of the mountain range.

I wouldn't call the property a resort. It's more of a bungalow situation so as long as you adjust to that kind of mentality you'll have a great time. We happened to be in the room closest to the street and so we heard some noise. Also, while there is a fair amount of privacy there was a camera pointed directly at our pool which undermined the expected sense of privacy. However, even with all that this was one of the best places we stayed in Thailand. We will definetly be returning next time!

Spacious room with a large balcony and private pool. Exceptionally clean and well-equipped (coffee machine with capsules, speaker, etc.). Great location – we rented a scooter through them and explored nearby stunning beaches. The hostess at reception was very friendly and helpful. Perfect stay!

Super recommended resort. Very kind people.

We liked the room and private pool. Really enjoyed the views. The receptionist was super nice with us all time, we asked if we could stay a bit longer cause we had the ferry at 3:30pm and she said it was fine. We also rented a motorbike from there which includes an insurance, the experience in overall was very good. Super recommended place to stay.

Nothing I didn’t like, bear in my location you will probably need to rent scooters (they have them available to hire at the resort). Or I think the resort can provide taxis but for convenience scooters is the way.

Lovely spot

It was a beautiful place to stay with a superb view from the private swimming pool and terrace. Everything that the hotel could control was done well.

Only issue was how close to the road it was, meaning you could be woken up by mopeds from 7am. Also, you could hear the nearby 'jungle party' until 3/4am if you are a light sleeper.

Nous avons tout apprécié. Les commodités, l’emplacement. Koh Tao est une petite île donc tout est à proximité. L’équipe est disponible via whatsapp ou même Booking. Les chambres sont propres. Tout est nettoyé chaque jour. Ça fait plaisir de rentrer et de voir que la chambre est ultra propre. Service de nettoyage vêtement dispo à l’hôtel. La piscine c’est un pur luxe. Et puis.. quelle vue !

La amabilidad de la gente que trabaja allí. El paisaje maravilloso . La habitación de lujo. Tienes una pequeña nevera que enfría genial.

Cuando estas en la piscina te pueden ver algunos de los vecinos , no tienen intimidad total. Hay hormigas hasta en la cama , pequeñas que muerden .No tienen restaurante propio aunque tienen uno enfrente.

Achei os móveis da varanda meio desconfortáveis. TInha outra expectativa. Cama e roupas de cama poderiam ser melhor O quarto não tranca, só a porta de entrada geral. Achei distante da praia e do centro. Tem uma ladeira gigantesca para chegar no local.

Incroyable

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans cet établissement ! Tout était parfait. La vue est à coupé le souffle. Si vous cherchez un endroit au calme, foncez. La jeune femme qui s’est occupée de nous tout au long du séjour était adorable. Beaucoup de services proposés comme location de scooter, équipement pour le snork, laundry… Par contre il est préférable d’être habitué à rouler en 2 roues pour plus d’indépendance en toute sécurité. (Route très en pente devant les villas)
