Near train station, clean, comfortable, safe, very good value

Breakfast was served 2 blocks back and it was pouring rain so I headed straight to the train station and had breakfast there

I could hear everything outside the window so I slept little

A reasonable place to stay if you’re in La Spezia

Easy and quick to find from train station. Then 12 mins from main marina and restaurant area. Accommodation was no frills but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. All staff were friendly but particularly the breakfast staff. Breakfast was an individual platter but more than enough for us.

Ok value for money for a short stay and visit to Cinque Terre.

They have a nice restaurant where they serve breakfast and you can have a nice dinner at night. It's less than 10 minutes away walking from La Spezia train station.

The rooms are in a old building with bad sound isolation. Our room was old and didn't seem tidy at all.

Too noisy and too small room. With no closet.

Only the location: near the train station.

Too small room for 4. We got only 2 shower towels (we are family of 4). There is no closet. The Wi-Fi does not work and there is no signal in the room (the mobile phone can not work at all). Too noisy- near the pizzeria. Too loud music almost all night. No parking space- the one on the street is full (it is hard to find a free parking space).

Great location, nice room and kind owner.

The location is excellent, close to the train station, you can walk with your luggage, near all the city’s attractions and water front. The owner was a very nice person, the rooms were very new and very clean in an old style building. You have use of a fridge and kettle.

Breakfast was at a bakery close by which you give a voucher to. The staff there were very unfriendly and seemingly resentful of most customers on both the occasions we went there. Also there is nothing but sweet things to eat there, no fruit or anything else. Pablo the owner made a great effort to greet us and check us in. After that you are on your own but you can call him if you need anything. It is a bit of a lonley place because of no one being around. They would do better to serve their own breakfast to their clients for some connection.

Within walking distance from the train station. Approx. 7 minute walk. Access to the restaurant was great and food was very good!

No one available between 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to let you into a room, which was fine and was stated on the website. The only thing is we arrived during those hours expecting them to at least hold our luggage so that we could wander around La Spezia. Even though there were people in the restaurant where you were to meet someone for your room, they would not take your luggage. This would have been a big help and hopefully in future will do this for others. We had to stand on side of road with our luggage for 2 hours. Would have been nice to include fruit and yogourt with breakfast.

I loved the place, the room is spacious as if a little studio. The idea of going to restaurant for breakfast to their lovely restaurant , I did eat my whole stay there breakfast lunch and dinner . didn't got out to any restaurant . train station and port to visit Cinq Terre and near by sea villages are walking distance. I loved the family staff , very nice. I was amazed to find my self doing check in through the restaurant cashier. in restaurant there was a very nice lady with short hair and a sweet smile serving us she used to talk with me in French and give me tips about sights and how to go , I wish I had known her name to thank her in specific.

I arrived by bus and was easy to reach hotel and found out that it is very close to train station so if you plan to stay there , better to arrive there by train.

Great value stay , lovely rooms, helpful staff, feast of a breakfast.

Close to the station and a 15 minute walk into the centre of La Spezia with great restaurants, shops, the ferry terminal. Staff at the guest house were super helpful with our plans for the cinque terrae and we went to PortoVenere on their recommendation- brilliant! Breakfast is a feast. The guest house is separate from the trattoria, quiet, modern, immaculately clean and well equipped.

Location suited us but it isn’t in the centre of town so be prepared for a short walk or taxi

Cinque Terre stay

Easy access to train station for the Cinque Terre, although the actual accommodation is down the street and round the corner from where you check in. Then there is an old fashioned lift that is very narrow and then dark corridors to get to room.

Not very clean, dirty fridge and bathroom was disgusting. Very dated apartment, very basic, literally just sleep there and that's it. Couldn't wait to get out. Breakfast was ok, doesn't cater for vegan even though I did request something vegan in my booking for example fresh fruit. Never heard of going for breakfast three blocks down the street from were you are staying. Also, ordered a pizza from the restaurant for dinner, asked could we sit in and they said there is a charge for sitting in per person, even though we were staying in the rooms! Not impressed.
