Good location, though it did take a bit of finding. I had hoped a taxi would take me there, but it was in a pedestrianised area, so I was dropped close by. The apartment is down a side lane, off the main drag. Simple to get into, with a code for the outside door, and keys for the rooms left in coded boxes on the entrance door to the rooms; it's self-check-in, so you will get the codes by text. Good communication with the host, who was helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room had plenty of lighting options and good aircon. A kettle is available in the corridor just outside the room to make drinks, and the room had a small fridge. There was a small balcony just big enough for a table and chair to sit and enjoy coffee and people-watch. The bathroom was adequate; the shower worked well, and there was a bidet with towels as well as the toilet and a handbasin. Considering the rooms are in the centre of town, it was quiet at night. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby, and if you're into shopping, it's ideal! A 10 min walk to the seafront/harbour, with lots of small cafes for coffee stops along the way. La Spezia is the gateway to the Italian Riviera and offers many attractions; the boat trip from the harbour along the Cinque Terre is well worth the time and money. I would have no hesitation in booking again.

If anything, the toiletries provided could have been a little better, and a kettle in the room would be good.

Central location in the historic area Ideal for seeing the sights, adequate space & comfort, good restaurants & shops nearby.

Avoid being put into Room 1 - it overlooks a parking garage plus noise/greasy smells from the rear of a restaurant kitchen (late booking).

Great location down quiet lane. Reasonably priced. Near good restaurants,lovely park, beautiful waterfront and information office. Giuseppe was helpful.

Directions for entering property need to be clearer. Bathroom could be little cleaner we did not like the shared kettle and milk in fridge would be good.
