It did the job, central location.

Central location in the historic area Ideal for seeing the sights, adequate space & comfort, good restaurants & shops nearby.

Avoid being put into Room 1 - it overlooks a parking garage plus noise/greasy smells from the rear of a restaurant kitchen (late booking).

Comfortable, convenient, affordable place to stay while we explored beautiful La Specia and the Cinque Terra villages.

Great location down quiet lane. Reasonably priced. Near good restaurants,lovely park, beautiful waterfront and information office. Giuseppe was helpful.

Directions for entering property need to be clearer. Bathroom could be little cleaner we did not like the shared kettle and milk in fridge would be good.

Perfect accommodation in the heart of La Spezia’s old town

Our stay at the COVO di LEVANTE apartment fully met all our expectations. The hosts were available for all our questions, yet never intrusive. The apartment was exceptionally clean and stylishly decorated, equipped with everything necessary (air conditioning, kettle, fridge, towels, hairdryer, iron...), and staying there was a real pleasure. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, with plenty of restaurants and cafés just next to the building (special recommendation for Café Bistro Kairos), yet the soundproofing in the apartment is excellent, so there was no noise at any time. La Spezia is a great starting point for anyone who enjoys an active holiday and wants to explore the Ligurian coast.

Great and safe location about 20 minutes away from the train station and close to all the main restaurants and bars. Very good air conditioning. Nice room and bathroom, towels included.

There was construction on while we were there from early morning till late evening and it was very very loud.

Location was brilliant, very central and close to everything we needed.

Room 4 a beautiful room but can be a little noisy until about midnight due to local restaurant and cafe noise. If you are a light sleeper, maybe pack ear plugs and it will be fine.

Great position.

Lovely apartment, nice and clean, great position for the Harbour and the town and about 10 minute walk to the train station.

The Bed was rather hard, but that's a personal preference. Apart from that nothing.

Great place to stay!

The location of this place was great. Right in the center of town in the walking district. Lots of great eateries in shopping nearby. You may want to know that there is not parking available unless you pay 35 euro a night. Otherwise, the room was very large and modern and comfortable.

The Wi-Fi was very weak to the point. We cannot watch a movie on Netflix.

This place was incredible. The host was extremely accomodating and very easy to communicate with. The room was exactly like pictured, very clean, tidy and homey. The area had great vibes and many food options around. This place is in a very central location, only a 15 min walk to the train station and 3-5 min walk to bus stops. Highly recommend!

Good location. Extremely clean room. Host was very prompt with responses and very helpful. Very easy and smooth check in. Host allowed us to leave luggage’s in room for our late departure which very convenient.

Fab room at the Heart of La Spezia

The room was spacious, proper temperature control, right at the center (only ~15 mins from Central Station) with restaurants. The access to the room was also presented with detail and it wasn't at all a hassle to check-in. Highly recommended. Suitable for longer stays, I spent 3 nights extremely comfortably.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat

The apartment is light and airy, has calming decor, a great location and is quiet. Downstairs out the front door there are sidewalk cafes, and gelato around the corner. The market is just a few blocks away and the fresh produce is amazing. Just a few blocks in the other direction is the park and the waterfront. This apartment completely surpassed a hotel I stayed at in La Spezia in size, decor and price.

Really lovely, very relaxed and a friendly atmosphere.

It was lovely to have our own space and Giuseppe was very hands on in terms of communicating with us but also leaving us to our own devices. The amenities were good, we liked the decor of the room also and the location was absolutely perfect being only a 10-15 min walk away from La Spezia train station and less that five minutes to the harbour. Plenty of restaurants in the local vicinity. Price wise this property was the most reasonable that we could find and once we’d visited the Cinque Terre region, despite it being lovely we were happy to be staying outside its hustle.

The noise was a bit much but Giuseppe must have had this as feedback before because he was measuring up for some sound proof windows so that will definitely be beneficial. It would have been nice to have the property turned over in the mornings, this was only done once during our stay which was good for privacy but maybe could have added to the feeling of being away. Also a safe may be of benefit to the room as we usually like to lock our passports away.

beautiful room, bathroom had two sinks, shower was spacious, very clean overall, location was central and easy to reach from the station.

We could hear noise from the streets because the windows were not fully sealed. it is v loud on the weekend. tolerable on weekdays.

We had to buy a couple of bowls and spoons so that we could make breakfast . We asked owner could he provide them he said not possible . Also there was a train strike in Italy on the day we were leaving and we were stranded in the train station for 6 hours . We got no warning about it
