Great location, but might not be for everyone

The location is excellent, right in the heart of La Spezia, making it an ideal base for visiting the Cinque Terre and the surrounding area. Communication with the host was fantastic, and both finding the flat and accessing it were very straightforward. That part of the experience was seamless. Breakfast is provided via vouchers for a nearby café, which was a nice option. That said, it would have helped to have a clearer explanation up front, particularly that you need to present the voucher before ordering. Once we figured that out, the selection of coffee and pastries was enjoyable, and you can simply pay the difference if you'd like to order anything beyond what’s included.

The flat we stayed in had the bed positioned quite close to the entrance door, and as a result, we were frequently disturbed by noise from the stairwell, including guests coming and going, talking, or dragging luggage. While this may not be something the host can easily change, it’s helpful for future guests to be aware that noise at awkward hours is possible. We also experienced a couple of housekeeping hiccups, where our towels were taken but not replaced. Luckily, we had beach towels with us, but this could have been inconvenient otherwise.

Large and comfortable and centrally located

The property was centrally located and close to the train station for trips to Cinque Terre. Eldorado was an excellent host, with lots of information for us. His recommendations were very helpful. The apartment was big enough for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers.

- It’s in the heart of the city centre. - There is a parking garage nearby but if you are persistent you may find free parking on the streets (viale Giovanni Amendola). - The room was clean.

Extremely central, clean and good communication. It was fine for a one-night crash that we needed.

It was tiny - the photos are very creatively taken, the room is entirely composed of the bed and the bathroom is basically in a cupboard.

Location is central to everything harbor, train station, cafes, activities, markets.. absolutely everything! The apartment itself was very comfortable, appreciated the view of Prione via, and thoughtful details. Eduardo is also very kind and helpful host. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone 😃

The hot water in the shower could last a little longer, but otherwise bathroom was really nice!!!! Loved the Instagram LED mirror and spacious sink!

Superb

The location was very central and provided easy access to the main town of La Spezia as well as a 10 minute walk away from the station leading to the Cinque Terre. I liked the room, it had air con, a tv, a mini fridge and a reasonable bathroom. The host was very accomodating and often gave us information for day trips we could take.

Yes, I may return, nothing was a real major issue, but it is the little things that sometimes count.

Location could not be better! The host was very nice and helpful. Price was reasonable.

We stayed 6 nights, occupied two rooms. It took repeating complaints until they started cleaning the room appropriately. Not that it was dirty, but they kept "forgetting" to take care of this or that item. In one of the rooms the A/C stopped working. Indeed a small price discount was given, but an immediate fix would have been much better.

Lovely room in perfect location between railway station and ferry.

Great location, very clean, well organised room with everything we needed including tea & coffee making facilities. Host was very helpful with recommendations for dining and helped us with our bags to the room.

Not a problem for us, but there’s no lift so anyone with mobility issues might want to request a downstairs room.

The host Eduardo did everything to make us feel very welcomed and comfortable. He took a lot of time to give us restaurant and sight seeing tips and was always reachable if we had questions. The location of the guest house is directly in the center and therefore we didn’t have to take the car to go out for shopping, eating, coffee etc. The room was very clean and lovely decorated.

It actually doesn't feel right to express criticism, since we were so happy with the accommodation. But as a tip for the guests: take earplugs with you. The guest house is in the city center and it could be noisy. We had some with us so it wasn't a problem at all.

Great base for Cinque Terre and wider area

Great all round. Would recommend/stay again. Was worried before arrival that the location might have been noisy, as it's on the main pedestrianised shopping street, but not so. No trouble sleeping with effective aircon and shutters on windows. Very helpful guy running this. Accommodated our request for an early check-in (14.30), recommended restaurants (we tried one - Pepe Nero - which served us very good pizzas and gave us a discount for being residents). Also explained how to get to ferries (5 mins walk) and only 10 mins walk from station, so ideal base for Cinque Terre. No breakfast facilities but discount vouchers were provided for a nearby cafe. We didn't try this as we were making early starts. Room really clean and comfortable, with simple, modern decor and good facilities, including kettle and tea/coffee and complimentary water.

Excellent comfortable stay in the heart of La Spezia

The apartment is on the central street and close to everything. Its well equipped and has everything you need including water, tea and biscuits. The host is a lovely person that did everything he can to assist us. He was very helpful with lots of info about the area. I recommend it as a short stay apartment in the heart of La Spezia.

The narrow shape of the apartment makes it difficult to accomodate a family. The bathroom was at the end and I had to go past the kids beds to get to it.

The room we had was like a little flat. Spacious and had everything. Bathroom was very nice too.

No elevator, so a little difficult if you have luggage. But, Edoardo helped! He actually answered all our questions, he even went outside to find us and bring us to the hotel. Very nice and friendly.

Deludente ;(

osizione. La struttura si trova in pieno centro in una via pedonale. Posizione sicuramente strategica per visitare la città ma scomoda perché non vi è parcheggio nelle vicinanze. La.nostra camera era al.terzo piano senza ascensore. Occorre Tenerne conto se si hanno problemi di deambulazione oppure molti bagagli. Colazione Tramite voucher avevamo diritto ad un croissant e un caffè in una pasticceria attigua molto buona. Ottima scelta e brioches eccellenti.

Guidata dalle recensioni positive/foto pubblicare, ho prenotato un'appartamento con 4 posti letto. Teoricamente doveva essere una "suite". Purtroppo quello che abbiamo trovato non è stato affatto in linea con quanto prospettato. Camera Avevamo prenotato Teoricamente una "suite". L'alloggio prevedeva una prima.camera con letto matrimoniale (piccolo) arredi molto modesti. Piante ornamentali finte/mobili bianchi molto.semplici/biancheria molto semplice (poliestere) All'interno di un corridoio in cui vi era anche un cucinino sorgeva un letto a castello anch'esso molto.modesto. *Pulizia Tutta la camera era molto impolverata/poco curata. In particolare sopra al letto a castello la situazione era imbarazzante così come in bagno (porta salviette). Le stesse piante ornamentali erano molto molto impolverate. Il pavimento anche, specialmente sotto al letto. * customer care Abbiamo segnalato la situazione al nostro ospite chr ci ha informato che il.giorno seguente avrebbero pulito. Il giorno successivo abbiamo notato che qualcuno.era passato a togliere la polvere sopra al letto a castello..ma tutto il resto era rimasto ahimè invariato. A compensazione /risarcimento ci è stato proposto uno sconto del.15% da Utilizzare su un eventuale nuovo soggiorno. Mi permetto di suggerire all'host che ad un cliente scontento poco importa il futuro (anzi probabilmente non vorrà proprio tornare in questa struttura in futuro...) la compensazione, in caso occorre farla subito.. Mi permetto infine di suggerire al gestore di controllare lui stesso in prima persona la condizione delle camere in modo da poter rispondere puntualmente e con giudizio alle lamentele. Allego foto della camera.
