All I could say to sum up my stay is you so not have any regrets booking here!

That room was absolutely beautiful. It was very comfortable. The best part was the staff. From the moment we arrived they were very helpful and the treated us really great! The food was fenominal. We had to leave earlier in the morning to get to our next destination and when they hears this they prepared food for us that night so we would have breakfast in the morning. I would give this place a 10 star if I could!

Plenty of parking for the car, short 20 min walk to town and central station. The room was clean and comfortable for our stay. You can hear slight sounds from adjoining rooms.

Not a typical hotel, but an autentic place in the city hidden away from the traffic. Pleasant stay.

A very good starting point to visit Cinque Terre. About 15 min walk to the La Spezia Centrale railway station. Good breakfast on the terrace. Free parking.

A little noisy kitchen ventilation, is however turned off at night. Restaurant closed on Monday.

Good for a visit to Cinque Terre

It is located 20 min away from the central train station which was great for our visit to Cinque Terre. The coffee and croissants were tasty. The host was nice.

The bathroom and the bed should have been cleaner. If you are coming around noon or 7pm it is difficult to get parking. Also it is difficult to find the stay. Some extra instructions with pictures would be good.

- Clean room - Good breakfast and restaurant

- Location was too hard to find - Noisy location due the proximity to the fotball stadium - No staff until 9.30 in the morning - Not so clean and tidy outside the villa. - No direct bus to the station where we needed to take the train to Cinque Terre.

La Spezia stay

The bed was large and quite comfortable compared to other recent stays in Italy. The room was serviced regularly. The location was good, close enough to walk into the centre of town but far away enough to be in pretty woodlands with free onsite parking. The breakfast provided was very nice.

There was tea provided, but no coffee in the room. The lighting in the bathroom was dim. There was very little wifi in the room. Better to go downstairs to get wifi in the restaurant. The hot water in the shower took a long time to heat and the water disappeared if someone else was using water in the accommodation.

Comfy and affordable option for a couple at walking edge of la Spezia

My partner and I stayed at Casina Rossa for one night on our journey to CinqueTerre. Its located above a restaurant slightly outside of la Spezia and is best reachable by car/bus, or about 20min walk to la Spezia train station and old town with a large choice of restaurants/bar. During weekdays the accommodation is really quiet so great for a deserved rest ; it gets apparently lively over the weekend with music/party. We really enjoyed the spacious room, comfy bed and cosy double Italian walk-in shower. The room is simple but has everything a traveller needs, and the staff made us feel really welcome so I'd really recommend this place. A special "grazie mille" from the bottom of our hearts to the lovely staff lady who offered us few focaccia and croissants to take away for breakfast, as we had to rush to the train station in the morning : we enjoyed each bite of this delicious food.

My only regret is that we did not try the restaurant below the accommodation owing to tight agenda but the nice smell of fish coming from that kitchen on our way out was hard to resist.

We will definitely come back!

We had a great stay at La casina rossa! Check-In and Check-Out went without any problem. We could park our car at the private parking lot of the hotel/restaurant. The room was clean and very comfortable. The Italian breakfast was served every morning and we could enjoy it on the terrace with a view of the dog park, part of the ocean, and the city. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and attentive. They gave us advice on where and when to travel and which public transportation would be best for the different destinations. The train station of La Spezia and downtown can be reached easily by foot in about 20 minutes. The food at the restaurant was delicious and had a very good price-service ratio. Thank you so much!

The room was very clean and beautiful with a comfortable bed. Very good restaurant downstairs, they even make pasta themselves. Good breakfast (Italian style). The staff was very nice -thank you :)

For us everything was ok :) If you seek a quiet stay we have to mention, that during the weekend there was a lot of noise from downstairs (dj playing music and the noise level in our room was like inside a nightclub.) You can also hear everything from the room next door due to connecting door. To find the location -follow signs to the restaurant, there is no sign of the hotel.

Weird setup but nice room and very professional staff

Staff was very friendly and professional and the room was quite good quality.

It is hard to discover the exact location from Google maps so ask for explicit instructions on booking. Also there was a party downstairs in the restaurant which was quite fun but loud, so don't go there if you are looking for silence. Repeat, if you don't mind the party was fantastic. To compensate for the noise, the manager offered us free dinner without us asking, so that was nice of them. Breakfast was poor.

,They had a DJ playing until gone midnight, we were told when we checked in, it's not advertised at all and no messages were sent. We booked over 4 months before staying and there was no alternative accommodation available for us to change to due to being told the day of check in. The restaurant is a lot larger than the images which means it is very loud. The name of the hotel isn't on Google, its the restaurant name which again they don't tell you when booking.

Great value, wonderful people who can cook very well

Great cozy b&b. It is above a restaurant that makes amazing authentic food. We went down and ordered a meal and they were kind enough to bring it up to us to enjoy in the room with white wine and glasses! Fantastic people. There’s an abundance of parking available. Super close to the train station if you’re planning on visiting cinque terre . Very good value Also the room is spacious and beautifully renovated. It has its own AC unit with remote for adjustment.

Some noise downstairs from the people eating and enjoying their meals but simmers down before 11pm. No big deal

As its located in a restaurant its very very loud. The doors don't block any noise at all. (Please invest in better ones than it would be a 9) If you go down to breakfast before anybody is there the alarm will go off!?

Absolutely charming

The property is located close to a nearby park which makes it like a little oasis in the middle of the city. The property is run by a lovely family, they were absolutely welcoming and warm. They made us feel at home. The rooms were top notch. I have stayed at several 4-star hotels with lower quality facilities. Be sure to try food at the restaurant downstairs, also delicious
