Morning room cleans were ok, often forgot to top up tea/coffee, scooted around the room, did not change towels when left on the floor. Other than this, all other staff were helpful, the restaurant was good and the location...stunning.

A wonderful four days in a beautiful area of Italy

The view from our room and the fact that we could access the lake really easily from the hotel to swim in.

Great views with excellent food and service.

We had a superior lakeside view room which I would recommend. The view was amazing, even with the rainy weather we had during our stay. The staff was excellent, very friendly and always helpful, and accommodating of our young baby in a buggy. The food at the restaurant was excellent - especially the steak for 2, and the icecream dessert! We will definitely make a return visit during the summer months to experience the pool and rooftop bar.

The bedroom was smaller than I anticipated but ok for a couple of nights (but it had a big balcony!). Two points of feedback would be to provide hair conditioner and to upgrade the hairdryer. Everything else was great!

Despite a few hiccups we enjoyed our stay at Giardinetto and look forward to returning to beautiful Lake Orta.

The clean lake view room, dinner at the restaurant, and swimming in the lake.

Water in the swimming pool was very cold. Also. the ferry service from Orta to Giardinetto was infrequent and we ended up waiting an hour for a taxi to transfer us back to the hotel.

Lovely location and balcony view. Excellent dinners with well trained and attentive staff. Good breakfasts. Comfortable bed. Clean room.

Key Facilities ( roof top terrace and swimming pool) were closed due to « end of season » but these seasonal closures were not specified in the listing of the hotel’s facilities prior to our booking the hotel - this was very disappointing and misleading

Make sure you get a room facing the lake before booking

the view from the restaurant, breakfast was very generous and pretty good, you can rent a pedal boat and a SUP to explore the lake, and a tiny pool. there are also a few paths you can take to explore around the lake.

The location is indeed very good, we were very impressed by the pictures of the rooms before booking, on arrival we received a room facing the main road instead of the lake, we requested to switch to a room with a view but we were told it was fully booked, i think this should be clarified in the pictures of the room before booking, its should also be reflected on the price, a room facing the main road can't cost the same as a room facing the lake!
