Extraordinary place for a perfect stay in the lake region
Remarkable historical palazzo, member of Relais & Châteaux. The service here is outstanding — staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Everything is perfectly taken care of, and breakfast is just amazing. Orta is a lovely place to explore while discovering the lake region.

Romantic villa near the lake
Beautiful villa with stunning decoration , great location, lovely team at reception, complimentary car, luxury bedlinens and towels.
Music a little too loud at breakfast starting at 08.00 hours and unfortunately most servants in restaurant didn’t speak English , which led to misunderstandings, confusion and long waiting times even for a cup of coffee.

Beautiful venue and amazing restaurant but not the hotel for us.
This is a beautiful venue but feels more like an incredible restaurant with rooms. Whilst the reception team were super friendly I did not feel at home here. Breakfast is high quality but we were rushed; being told a number of times the buffet was going to close from our arrival at 10 (advertised until 10.30). No guidance as to what we could have. We ordered eggs but then saw the next day others having much more than this. A menu would help. Getting drinks outside of a meal time was an ordeal. I wanted to sit and drink a bottle of wine with my family at 6pm. Was told I could not have a wine list and the terrace was shut. It took a lot of insistence on my part to get a wine list and eventually a sommelier appeared to help. This should not be that difficult. The dinner experience was incredible but at over €1000 for the 3 of us with one shared bottle of €110 wine (the cheapest) I would hope so. Thankfully we read we could get a day at the hotels sister hotel with a pool and beach club. This was amazing and I will definitely go back to this hotel. Villa Crespi, whilst beautiful, was the wrong choice for us.
