It’s had free parking and was very dog friendly.
Well, it needs some updating little bit old fashioned but still very ok.

In fact, the hotel is located in a beautiful place, very close to the Lago Maggiore, near a boat station, to discover the Islands and the lake.
The room was big enough, the breakfast is rich, with tasteful foods, sweets, fruits.
We enjoyed the terrace, the quiet location, the peace.
Parking is easy, the hotel has own parking place.
The pillows - it seems that this is characteristic in Italy- were rigid.
AC is weak.

The hotel is well located. Not in the center, but walking distance.
The lady at the reception was very helpful and offered us a parking spot where we didn't need to leave our keys for the car. If the parking is full, you can play in second line and then leave the keys. Our car is quite new, so we wouldn't have felt comfortable with this option. So we were really thankful for the lady that accommodated for us.
We had a nice balcony with lake view.
We didn't use the indoor pool, but it looked good.
The air conditioning in the room was not working and made a very loud noise. As we only stayed one night, we didn't tell the receptionist about it. Maybe they would have solved the issue.
The hotel overall is a little bit outdated and for the price I would have expected more. But everything in Stresa is expensive.
We came with our dog and had breakfast outside, what was really nice for the weather. However, the waiters were not very helpful and didn't like that we had breakfast outside. If you have breakfast outside you need to bring the coffee yourself and then take back all the used plates. Inside the coffee is brought to your table because it's not a machine. So you still need to order it and they were not very friendly when we did so.

The location was good as long as you are okay with a 15 minute stroll into the town centre. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. I appreciated having a bath as an option.
The staff were a bit surly and didn’t give us very helpful information about getting to the islands - there are many ferry companies who leave at different points along the waterfront and ‘just book online as it’s cheaper’ was not good advice!
The bed wasn’t very comfortable and there was a fair amount of noise from other rooms. The shower was over the bath, which didn’t have a flat vase so it was not very pleasant to use. Breakfast was rather boring - who these days serves tinned fruit and only boiled eggs as a hot option?

Next to the port where you take the boats to the Borromee Islands. Free parking. Cleanliness. Some staff were nice and polite.
The hotel was a nightmare. Old mattresses with iron springs, the double beds are two small mattresses joined together to form a double bed, which prevented us from sleeping. Outdated, no soundproofing. We heard all kinds of noises, when guests upstairs or next door took a shower, went to the bathroom and flushed the toilet, when they talked or walked, and every time they raised or lowered the balcony blind. You could hear cars passing by on the street. Wi-Fi didn't work. One of the women at the front desk was extremely unpleasant and unfriendly.

Good location, right by lake, pleasant helpful staff and good breakfast. Cafe by the ferry terminal didn't look much but the food was very good and the staff friendly 🙂
Insects, I was bitten but that's not the hotel's fault 🙁

The hotel is situated right next to the lake promenade and the Lido from where you can take boat tours to the islands. The center can be reached by a beautiful walk.
The air-conditioning is a bit old and can hence be difficult to operate, but in the end it worked.

Spacious room. Great view from balcony of the lake. Easy walk along lakeside to town. Many restaurants not far away. Breakfast staff very attentive and operate in many languages. Staff helpful with train strike issues.
Walking from station needed longer route as no footpaths on short route road. Instructions to find room in hotel could have been clearer. There was a big event on nearby island and the pass that would have helped us get past the police was not given out before the event. Electrical wiring cover in bathroom could be better secured to the wall. Light switches on wall inside bathroom near sink - but that is Italian electrics I assume.

very clean room & daily service. breakfast was very good. Nice balcony too. we were in the back part so the lake view is only partial & also you’re looking onto other rooms.
it’s a good 25 mins walk into Stressa. although for boat trips the location is great for visiting the 3 islands. Also there’s not much in the way of a bar! very limited not very appealing so don’t stay here if you want to go back to your hotel for a drink after a long day!

- We parked there
- Breakfast
- The view was not on the lake, I guess only a few rooms have that view
- not very close to the center but doable on foot
- we could only stay with the curtains because our window was on the hotel garden with other people there

Hotel Lido La Perla Nera is a charming hotel with the benefit of an indoor swimming pool. Breakfast had a very good selection and the balcony had a nice view. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is ideally situated for the Carciano ferry port and has a fantastic lake side restaurant within a few metres. Rooms were a good size and very clean. I like to have 2 pillows and nothing was too much trouble for them.
There wasn't really anything that I would have improved.

Breakfast good but the same every day.

The hotel is right on the lake. To get to downtown Stresa you can walk the breathtaking panorama walk, it takes about 20 to 30 minutes. The rooms had everything we needed, including a nice balkony with direct access to the garden and view of the gardens and a tiny bit of the lake. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast had a big selection, including different joices of free-from-products. We really enjoyed our stay.

excellent location right across from the boat stop, quiet, free parking, lovely small indoor pool, wonderful spacious bathroom, nice garden, lovely lounge, good AC
a bit too much chlorine in the swimming pool, bed was a bit hard (though my husband loved it) and breakfast lacks a bit of variety of fresh things (lots of gluten-free things though)

Good location with views on Isola Bella and only a short walk to Stresa promenade. One of few hotels having indoor pool. Many restaurants around.
A bit outdated.
