Stunning building in a stunning location.
We have booked one of the cheaper rooms, so was slightly apprehensive but room was lovely.
Pool area was lovely also.
Bar prices were a bit steep
We bought two small bottles of water that cost us €8. Seemed very excessive.

The hotel was fantastic with our dog. And he could join almost everywhere. Very welcoming staff.
The seaview balcony is fantastic, the view from the room is out of the world, and we enjoyed several good wines and moments on it. Want to highlight the service mindness of the receptionists. Both for giving our dog a gift and for the great upgrade to a sea view room.
The value for money is so and so, but it is Stresa. The restaurant need to increase quality or lower the price. I felt that the restaurant options in stresa gave more "heart" and to a significant lesser cost than the hotel restaurant. I did not like that the 5% service charge was added to bill automaticly, as you feel obligated to "accept" it. (This US practice is not necessary in Italy or Europe for that matter)
