A good choice for a day or two in the area

Good location. Good TV and USB charge ports. Very good breakfast choice. Friendly staff.

Extra parking charge not advertised. A good walk into town on uneven pavements.

Good value hotel in a great location

The location is really good. It is 5 mins walk to the lake and about 15 mins walk along the promenade to central Stresa. The bed was really comfortable and the aircon was quiet and effective. The swimming pool area is lovely and towels are provided. Breakfast was reasonable with lots of choice. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was basic, but as you would expect for the price in this area.

There were no hot drink facilities in the room, even though the room description said there were. The carpet was old and dirty.

Average value for money in an expensive town

Good location, 20 minute walk into the main town. Bed was comfortable, friendly staff

Room had a strange smell. Said there was a fitness centre, there isn’t. Average shower, pool area was ok but no toilets and you had to beg, steal and borrow to get a towel. Breakfast was good unless they decided not to top up any food after half nine which happened a couple of times.

Stress-free Stresa!

Excellent location near Carciano ferry dock to Borromean islands - could not be more convenient! Good breakfast - self serve coffee was very handy and wider selection available. Bedroom very comfortable and clean with large balcony although noise from busy street outside and loud music from cars at traffic lights at corner of hotel, might disturb some guests? Extra hangers and a kettle were requested at reception and were no problem - Staff were very helpful and accommodating! Pool looked lovely, but weather against us on this occasion unfortunately?!

Taxi called by hotel on a Sunday insisted we pay cash and drove us immediately to an ATM! €15 charged to Stresa train station (less than 1km)?! Breakfast lacking a selection of fresh fruit or veg options or museli/granola, which would have been appreciated.

Nice room, clean and had the benefit of a small fridge. Good breakfast, pool area also very good. Nice walk along the promenade into town.

Plastic cups in the bathroom, glass would be better. Could have done with a kettle/tea/coffee making facilities.

Pool was closed until day after our departure and had chosen this hotel because of the pool as love an early swim. Was disappointing as had no knowledge of this when booking the room.

Lovely location

The location was great. Bed was nice and comfortable. Staff was always very friendly and helpful.

The bed and desk seem new but the wall had cracks and was a bit stained. Bathroom was clean but a bit dated. We booked a lake view room but we had another hotel in front of our window and had only partial view. It would be better to advertise it as partial lake view in my opinion

Absolute heaven

It was centrally located. The staff were above and beyond helpful and friendly and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The gentleman at reception was very knowledgeable and gave wonderful recommendations for our stay. It was only a 10 minute walk to the centre of town and lovely and quiet at night. You cannot stay any closer to the dock to catch the ferry or boats to the islands and beyond. The food was exceptional and the pastry chef needs a pay rise! Would recommend this stay to anyone and we will be staying here again in the future.

Perfect base to explore Lago Maggiore

Fantastic views from room and balcony, air conditioning worked well, comfy beds, excellent breakfast and pool/bar area all really nice and well kept. Staff were also very helpful.

Great location but small room

The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We had made a non-refundable reservation but unfortunately with the wrong date. After calling the hotel it was no problem to cancel the reservation free of charge and make a new booking. We were refunded in only a few days. The hotel is a former monastery but you only see this from the garden side. The front of the hotel is new and modern. The location to the center is great and in walking distance. The breakfast is very good with plenty of choice. You can park you car for a small amount in a garage near the hotel.

The room we had was really small. The large bed was comfortable but took up the whole space. The bathroom was tiny. The shower was so small that a big person could not fit in. The toilet was so close to the hall that my husband who is not even that tall (1.80) had to sit sideways.

Sehr freundliches Personal in hundefreundlichem Hotel.

Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und das Hotel generell sehr hundefreundlich. Der Wein an der Bar war hervorragend und hatte ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auch das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und lecker.

Es war etwas weiter entfernt vom Stadtzentrum, aber dafür konnte man einen schönen Spaziergang entlang des Sees machen. Wir hatten nur leider schlechtes Wetter.

Ein schönes Hotel, sehr Zentral gelegen wo man in ca 10-15 Minuten in der Stadt ist. Das Frühstück war gut und das Personal sehr freundlich.

im Zimmer läuft die ganze Zeit die Klimaanlage, wo auch einen sehr seltsamen Geruch hat. Das Bad hauptsächlich die Dusch sollte man Renovieren - erstmal den Duschkopf auswechseln, der ist mehr als defekt. Leider wurde das Duschgel nicht mehr aufgefüllt!

Das Bett war das schlechteste, das ich je hatte. Ein extrem schlechter Metallrost, wie eine Hängematte, jede Bewegung hatte der Partner mitbekommen….

Schönes Hotel, gute Lage...wir kommen wieder !!!!!!!!!

Gutes Hotel .. die Lage ist super.. 5 Minuten zur Schiffsanlegestelle der barromäischen Inseln und 15 Minuten zu Fuß in die schöne Gassen von Stressa mit vielen Restaurants. Ebenso klasse der tolle Außenpool mit Poolbar mit reichlich Liegen. Das Hotel innen selbst ist gut, schöner Eingangsbereich, Rezeption, Speiseraum schon etwas älter, aber man kann beim Frühstück schön draußen sitzen. Die Zimmer und Bad haben eine gute Größe ( wir hatten ein schönes Eckzimmer mit Seesicht , wir hatten über Hotiday gebucht) , Frühstück war super, sehr viel süße Teilchen !!!! Leider nur Dosenobst statt frisch, wünschenswert wäre täglich frische Melone. Trotzdem ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top... Tiefgarage kostet 15 Euro pro Nacht, aber dafür hat man seinen festen Parkplatz. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich, .. wir können dieses Hotel nur empfehlen, und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Und nochmal... TOLLES PREIS-LEISTUNGSVERHÄLTNIS !!!!!!!!!!!!

la literie était confortable, la chambre propre, le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet très varié et généreux.

la bouilloire prévue était absente la piscine pour laquelle nous avions choisi l’hôtel et qui devait être en fonction ne l’était pas, trop peu de clients l’hôtel est coincé entre la rue principale de Stresa et la voie de chemin de fer. impossible de rester sur le balcon.

Piacevolissimo breve soggiorno a Stresa

Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Colazione abbondante e varia. Posizione dell'hotel molto comoda per raggiungere a piedi il bellissimo lungolago di Stresa. Ho parcheggiato facilmente la macchina in strada gratuitamente ma c'è anche la disponibilità di un parcheggio a pagamento messo a disposizione dalla struttura. Non ho provato il ristorante per la cena ma ci sarebbe stata la possibilità.
