It was 2-level small apartments, isolated from others, with their own entrance door locked with a digital lock. Clean, well-planned, warm, quiet.
I missed a microwave oven! Also, it would be good to have a small bedside table for a smartphone and other belongings. I also did not find any soap for handwashing. The Wi-Fi is very unstable; I was frequently asked to re-log in (very annoying!).

In principle a great appartement in a silent location, with all I would have needed. But ...
Strongly overheated appartement. I wasn't able to reduce the temperature in the two days I stayed.
Electrical window steering didn't work smoothly. Only the roof window above my bed opened, the second didn't move. Sleeping with open window was not ideal. The window closed by itself during the second night. First night the blinds didn't close when I wanted to have it darker in the morning. Due to heat and open blinds, I got almost no sleep. :-(
Snow and ice around the house had not been removed well, and, not at all on the street in front of the building.

The smart layout of the small apartment and the cozy feeling it creates. Furniture and fixtures in the apartment are of high quality. It felt quite comfortable. The area is also quiet despite the fact there was a construction area right next door.
The roller blinds can't be adjusted to your liking, so it's either pitch black in the room or not. It would be nice if you could adjust to your liking, but it's not really that bad. Maybe a rollable curtain would do the trick.

Nothing
I arrived around 22:00 and the property hadn’t been attended / not cleaned since the previous visitors left - a mess! I phoned the property and after waiting was called back that it couldn’t be cleaned this late - I would get a refund … and a voucher . All this has not happened and I still have heard anything from booking.com neither received my refund for two nights - unacceptable, I was stranded in Hamburg without accommodation and have not even received a refund - I would not recommend this place , but will also not use booking.com again

The location, the design, the quality of the accommodation
Stairs are a bit difficult to negotiate in particular at night

The layout of the property and location were fantastic. We really felt at home in the area. The house itself was a little smaller than expected, but had everything we needed so it was perfectly acceptable.
I think it was the comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on! The shower pressure is perfect and we loved the glass panel overlooking the staircase - very quirky!
There were plenty of amenities in the kitchen for cooking which was handy as there is a Lidl and Aldi around the corner.
The shower started to drip during the night of our last stay which we weren’t able to fix and unfortunately kept us awake for a little while. The lighting could have been a little brighter, possibly one above the kitchen unit.

The beds were really comfortable, like the shower a lot and the air con worked well.
Check in was a nightmare - didn't like not having a person to liaise with. We waited outside the apartments for almost an hour trying to figure out check in. It just wasn't working. Some other guests were having the same problem as us. Also the check in time on Booking.com is 15:00, but in reality it's 16:00 - no one replied to my emails about this.
Also LOADS of flies.

Beatiful appartment in a great neighbourhood. There are several great restaurants/ café’s close by.
The apartment is very well styled and has an luxurious feel, however cleaning/ maintenance could be a bit better, such as the shower (ceeling)/ airconditioner/ vents. It seemed that there were smarttv’s installed, however we could not acces any apps, this would be a great addition/ tip for in the future.

The apartment is nice. It was quite. We can park at the street nearby or at the apartment but there only ca. 4 or 5 places that were full almost all the time. Comfortable bed.
The sink at the kitchen was clogged. No microwave. No separation of the trash so no recycling possible. Internet a bit slow. Netflix only possible if you have an account.

Very quiet
Only 4 parking places, and most of time they are occupied. You have to find parking on the street.
No microwave oven !!!! Missed a lot.

If you need to stay west of HH you should look no further. Modern, stylish, very well equipped and with a great comfy bed + parking lot, wich crucial for HH. Aldi is handy and at least 3 good restaurants, including one directly in the same building (from 6 to 10)
Not a dislike, but since I've spent here 13 nights in total - I'd prefer a standard table in living/kitchen room instead of coffee table

Design, location.
1- Automatic doors that work with your cellphone, no battery-no entry and no reception
2- Claustrophobic
3- WC downstairs, bed upstairs, steep stairs, horrible in the night.
4- bed under tilted roof with windows, hear the rain all night.
5-staircase and shower height not sufficient, hit my head 10-times.
6- poor insulation, could hear neighbors and restaurants.
7-no breakfast, aldi and lidl - walking distance
8- bad pillows
9- Almost everything was in German.
- First night when I arrived in the pooring rain, the kiwi door system did not work, asked locals for help, still nothing. Tried calling for assistance, no answer. Then my phone died, had to take taxi to Hilton... €300/night.

nothing.
Opening method was only shipped the evening before, I stood 10 min in front of the door with dying battery on my laptop, when entering the room it was 19° freezing and it took the whole evening to get a little warm.
Floor heating did not work well, the induction oven did not work properly.
On top we had to book a coworking space as we could not work inside the apartment. Nor was there a decent table to work on (there was one existing low couch table and another a little lighter table maybe 40x20cm, so not even for one person enough space), nor the space to stay there as two people. Internet was working only on the entrance, on first floor no working internet.
When opening the tabs in kitchen and toilet room you burned almost your hands, as it was not set on medium or cold setting. To get the water boiler you need to step on a ladder.
Uncomfortable stairs to step down or up. Not suitable if you have any knee issues.
No space to put 2 trolleys and 2 bags, you need to step over your stuff.

Location and availability of kitchen facilities
Should provide slippers.
Should inform beforehand that you need WiFi tp operate the door.. foreigners may not have it (fortunately I did).
They should have some advice beforehand for depositing luggage a few hours before/after checkin/out.

It was very clean and beautifully decorated.

Very modern and comfortable furniture, fully and luxurious equipped kitchen (water boiler, toaster, coffee machine, plates, cups, cooking pots, salt-paper, milk frother), the coffee capsules and tees, very well working wifi, the floor heating. The location is quite but not far from the city center. There are two supermarkets within walking distance. Free of charge parking place right in front of the apartment. The Röbbek Eatery offers various food/drink options. The communication with the property is fast and problem-free.
We will be back for sure!
The check out was at 10:00 which I find a bit earlier than usual checkout times, but it was not a big issue.
There was a bit noise coming very early in the morning for a while (probably from the eatery) which did not bother too much.
The gym was closed because of covid rules (but rather I went out for a walk as the environment around the apartment is very nice)

Beautiful mini-apartments in a leafy, residential part of Hamburg. Perfect location for our requirements. Lots of shopping options close by. Everything was super clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Also, the equipment is top of the line - Panasonic OLED TV, Wüsthof knives, SMEG kettle etc.
The apartment was tiny and we felt the space could have been used a bit more intelligently. Just placing some objects for everyday use in the kitchen/living room (laptop PC, luggage, some groceries) made the room so crowded that doing anything required shifting our stuff back and forth. Somehow not ideal, but maybe it works better if you travel alone?
We also found it a bit hot in the apartment, despite having switched off all heating (it was November). Lower floor taps weirdly only provided hot water. The roof windows over the bed easily create a draft for anyone lying in the bed just below, making them hard to use to cool the room down a bit for night time in winter.
