We booked a 7 bed dorm with private toilette and shower. The room was spacious with everything needed to stay a couple of nights in Amburg, i.e. lockers and good beds.

The AC power plugs were old and most of them impossible to plug.

Comfortable hostel in central Hamburg-Altona

- Good location for the price - Very comfortable and clean rooms (room service provides everyday) - Staff was friendly and out of the way

- Bathroom extractor did not work well, very stuffy after showering, not ideal for a room of 4 people

Would come back here again!

Very well organized, clean and comfortable. Lots of plugs next to each bed. The toilet water is rainwater which is also great. Nice to see the hotel is thinking about sustainable practices. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout and go wander. Breakfast was really nice but a little expensive. Or I guess it depends how much you can eat for breakfast.

Only minus was the temperature. The room got very warm, but if we opened the window, we got the noise from people talking and hanging out in the yard. Not a biggie but we were tired and wanted to sleep in.

Basic but comfortable - nice staff, liked the fact you could have clothes washed

Bathroom could have been nicer. Shower head was too low and I couldn’t move it. Noisy young women in next room on second night but someone told them to be quiet

Location is quite safe and pretty close to Altona station. Hotel staff was really nice.

Breakfast was a little overpriced for some buns and a couple slices of ham, cheese and some fruits with yoghurt.

A good Hotel in the right place.

The location was great right in the center. The breakfast rounded up the stay and got me ready for the trip. Overall I would always stay there again.

The beds were not that comfortable for a night is ok but if you stay a bit longer it might be a bit on the uncomfortable side.

By the time I went to breakfast at 9:30am there was not much of the cold meats anymore.

Excellent value for money.

Excellent value for money. No-nonsense rooms but everything you need is there. Good breakfast for a decent price. Also love the fact that they have a 3-person room available.

There is nothing that I disliked. This time I would have changed my reservation from a 3-person room to 2-person room but this was no longer possible (as they were full).

logistically well located, public transport close by, shopping and dining as well. Fischmarkt within walking distance. Reasonable value for money. toilet paper supply was maintained despite illness related absence of room service…

clean but fairly minimalistic, youth hostel like. eg, one single wall plug in the room, unable to charge mobile after going to bed (hate that!); poor acoustic insulation. graffiti all over the buildings in the vicinity…but - for compensation: all breakfast items were of BIO quality unless FAIR TRADE, luckily still with the taste of ordinary discounter food (still reasonable value for money…). all in all, bit ugly,-

Well located for our purposes. Parking close by at a reasonable price. Very good breakfast.

The receptionist was very unfriendly when we arrived, as if we were disturbing her evening. I had to show my passport to pay by credit card! Like stepping back a few years. Our room was next to a balcony. A sign asked residents not to smoke there, but they did anyway and the smell drifted into our room. The recycled grey water used to flush the toilet was interesting and there could have been a note about that. There was no shower gel in the shower.

Great location with easy access to the the train and very good breakfast. Nice, clean room and spacious bathroom. Basic yes, but so it was supposed to be. Overall excellent value for money!

very nice location, basic rooms but clean organic breakfast friendly staff

couldn’t leave luggage at the reception for the afternoon as they were not going to be there all afternoon, not a bit issue as the station is close by but it is a bit strange that hotel can’t offer that service. couple of extra hooks in the rooms would be nice so that you can hang up your jacket.
