Don't hesitate a minute to book that lovely and extraordinary place

Perfect stay: (1) You can't beat that great location, right in the Panier district, though ultra quiet as set in a peaceful and beautiful garden. You can smell jasmin, hear the birds, enjoy your morning coffee at a small table in front of your door, or have your dinner at 2 large communal tables under the trees. You can even eat some mulberries or figs direct from the tree. A piece of countryside right in the city centre. Amazing! (2) The accommodation is as per the pictures, even a little bit more welcoming as some decoration has been added. It is big enough for 4 adults. Fully equiped kitchen, large shower, 2 sinks, separate toilet. Very comfortable with all the equipement you can ask for: air con, fan, iron and iron board, hairdryer, large fridge, coffee machine, water boiler, etc... (3) The appartment was very clean. (4) Beatrice, the host, is going the extra mile to make you feel welcome and she shares all her best addresses (extensive list) (5) The history of the building is amazing and we felt privileged to get a private history tour. (6) Certain details show a desire to provide excellent hospitality: not only coffee/tea or mosquito repellent are at disposal, but also pastis or rhum to make sure you enjoy the garden!

Nothing in particular caught our attention. I personnaly would provide better pillows to make it 6 stars :) As the two sinks in the bathroom are a little small, the faucets would be better set further back so that they don't hit you in the head when you bend over, otherwise you splash some water around. That is an insignificant detail when all the rest is perfect.

Excellent pied à terre pour découvrir la ville

Very warm welcome by the owner. Charming old stone church in the courtyard. The place was as described on the website, small but nice if you plan to eat mainly outside. Location is excellent really a few minutes away from most restaurants, visits, ... careful don't go with a stroll or if you can't climb stairs. Nice shower room, nicely renovated.

Double beds are 140 cm it is a bit small for 2 persons. Curtains are nice and white but if you like sleeping in a dark room, it's complicated even with shutter closed. Old building renovated, it is clean, unfortunately a bit humid despite a VMC that is a bit noisy.

We had a wonderful five-day trip discovering the vibrant city of Marseille.

The place is very quiet, although it is located right in the historical center of Marseille. The apartment was very clean and had a cozy, homely feel. Very good shower.

It looked perfect on the Booking web site, we were a little concerned when we saw the age of the building but the lady who owns it was superb as was the room and breakfast. She called a taxi for us at the airport as we were 5 and no large taxis, she still met us at midnight. We got the full history of the 1,000 year-old building in the morning over home-made breakfast.

A little point but it was a little musty in one of the corridors but it was just a first impression, otherwise it was superb.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful old building in a perfect location in the heart of Marseille. Great for slighter bigger families/groups . Will definitely rebook if I come back.

If you are looking for something nice, look no further - you've found it!

The location couldn't have been better - absolutely great! It was also clean and spacious. And the host was very friendly and helpful! I absolutely recommend this place! I'm sure every guest will be satisfied and if I ever come back to Marseille I will definitely book this place again! I wish I could have stayed longer.

My pillow was a little too soft. Had a bit of a neck ache in the morning. But I may be a little sensitive when it comes to pillows and no-one should be put off by this when thinking about booking this place.

Eine grüne Oase mitten in der Altstadt

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung mit dem Zugang zum Garten und der Terrasse ist eine kleine Oase mitten im Quartier Panier. Die Lage ist hervorragend, man ist gleich beim Vieux Port, den Bussen und der Metro, viele Lokale in der Nähe. Beatrice ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, sie hat uns viele Tipps gegeben, auch bzgl, Restaurants, die wir ausprobiert haben und die alle gut waren. Und sie hat uns 2 Regenschirme geliehen, als es geregnet hat. Unkomplizierter, persönlicher Check in und out. Schnelle Antwort auf unsere Fragen. Wenn wir wieder nach Marseille kommen, dann bestimmt zu Beatrice.

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement et avons bénéficié de précieux conseils de la part de nos hôtes, toujours aux petits soins. Le logement est tout à fait conforme à la description, et le jardin est un véritable atout qui ajoute beaucoup de charme à l'ensemble. En prime, Roma (leur petit chien) qui est adorable!

Emplacement idéal, proche du vieux port des commerces et restaurants. Location au calme, propre et parfaitement décorée. Petit jardin très agréable pour se poser après une journée de visite. Et nous avons eu un superbe accueil.
