Lovely views, friendly staff!

The location on the water was amazing, the views were gorgeous.

Others have mentioned this in reviews that in order to access guest rooms you have to pass through an alley, which is where they keep all their garbage. The ocean access is very convenient and just below the hotel, but it is incredibly busy and often there are many people smoking cigarettes that wafts up to the hotel and pool. While not something they can control, it is less than ideal. The pool area is nice but a bit limited in space, the walking area if there are people at the pool is very limited. One thing that wasn’t mentioned is the gate access for cars to the hotel is down an incredibly narrow street where pedestrians walk, so people should be sure to get a taxi or very small car!

Nice comfortable quiet stay in a corner of Marseille

Very nice and helpful staff. Large, quiet, well-appointed room and our terrace has an excellent view. Had a wonderful dinner at their main dining room and the dinner at the bistro is adequate. Our room is in a building not directly attached to the main building which is a bit awkward particularly, we have to walk through the bistro dining/breakfast area in order to get to the front desk. The location is over 1 mile from downtown and there is not much around the hotel. But it is along the waterfront promenade which we enjoy walking along.

the smell of the rooms and the bathroom and the elevator. it was horrible the location was not nice and so difficult to drive the car to reach the hotel reception and park the car. it’s very narrow.

the view and location. the bed was comfy.

it is tired visually. the service is poor. extremely limited menu (and unimpressive delivery) and basic in-room provisions. aircon is limited in the bedrooms. everything is outdated! we couldn’t even order a cocktail other than an aperol or a mojito.

Excellent location, superb dinner in the *** restaurant, great staff, super pool and good breakfast.

Dinner in the non-*** bistrot was poor. A short menu of five items with two not available, leaving a choice of only three cold starters. Staff on the night did very well but when this was raised with management on departure, this was met with a shrug. Already the hotel doesn't offer all day service, as you might expect from a ***** establishment so it's probably not worth staying if you aren't eating in the *** gourmet restaurant.

1. the hotel does not correspond to the assessment. 2. in fact it is 3 stars. by no means 5 stars. 3. the room is in poor condition. 4.old renovation, the lock in the windows is broken. they cannot be closed. there is no safe in the room. everything is very gloomy. 5. the hotel lacks staff, it feels like only 2 people. 6. hotel price does not match the quality. 7. the price of the hotel room does not match the quality.

Breakfast very average and very expensive, far, far from the quality expected at a 5* hotel. The 3* Michelin Restaurant rather surprises with an uneven ambition level. The rather long waiting times between some dishes in the big menu makes people quite sleepy, long before arrival of the deserts.

Lovely place to stay

The location is amazing. I did a ton of research before choosing the hotel, but this is seriously one of the best locations you can get. Bonus... free parking. The nightstaff at the restaurant is great. The breakfast staff, a tad unfriendly. Everyone spoke english in my stay. The breakfast was great, I was missing eggs Bennedict though, that isnt an option on the breakfast menu. The terrace overseeing the sea is amazing; I could spend a whole day there and not get tired. The room itself is great. I traveled alone, but it would also be great for a couple too. The hotel is about a 28min walk to the center. I walked most of the times, felt safe walking at night as well, despite being alone. I will return for multiple stays.

It was clean, but there were a few details that bothered me. For example, the sink in the bathroom was square. The corners of the square were yellow. Easy to clean/take out limescale, if there was more attention to detail. Another thing that bothered me was the no refilling of the toiletries (cue tips and face pads). There were two when I arrived, and they werent replaced despite them being used. Another thing, but this was very small, and a matter of taste, the shampoo/shower gel/balm pack is from L’Ocitane, great, but the smell chosen was very strong. As in very strong. If you have sensitive skin, it’s gonna go cucu/breakout. Maybe consider getting something more neutral smelling/parfumeless.
