Lovely staff, but dirty room

Location and friendly staff.

The room really smelt bad, like someone had been smoking in it for a very long time. We both had issues breathing and afterwards got sick for the rest of our vacation.

The pool is good apart from the steps to the pool there is no safety rail

Breakfast wasn’t that great in terms of hot food today the bacon was all burnt and the potato cakes were cold and soggy The surround to a plug socket came off and I think the socket was loose in the wall. Both morning there was no hot water for a shower or at the sink but at 9am was hot to the sink I didn’t choose a room overlooking the port which is a pity but the added cost was deciding factor as had booked late for bank holidays and prices were high

Great hotel ... I would rebook

The hotel was amazing, really nice decor, very friendly and competent staff, excellent bedding (slept very good), I could adjust aircondition easily, very quiet rooms (didn't hear anything the first nights)

Minor points: The pool was too warm (maybe add some cold water every morning?) I got a family room (515) and in the third night I woke up as my neighbor clapped the door (soundproof of door should get an upgrade) Drinks at poolbar very expensive (Cocktail € 5,- , small water bottle € 5,-)

Hotel did not stand up to it's policies regarding discounts for membership program. I lost almost 400euro because of their not standing behind their program and was not customer friendly. will never stay in this hotel or any Radisson Hotel again.

it had a amazing location near all the restruants and good bar drinks but pool could be a bit bigger

i personally think it was a wonderfull stay and the location was great we mostly walked to breakfast lunch and dinner the options in the bar near reception had a great variety of drinks and snacks we had a great stay x

i think the pool could have been a bit bigger we had to sit on the grass and our towels got a bit dirty the locks in the bathroom near the pool are not good we didnt have a extremely nice veiw it was just some bricks but stil a great comfortable stay x

Not the 4star experience we were expecting

The room was as described, Large beds, plenty of power outlets, the pool area was pleasant enough and the best service we received on our entire stay came from Sudhil who was manning the pool side bar. The Bathroom was pleasant enough.

Desk space in the room is minimal and considering that three adults were staying for five nights the wardrobe space was appalling, barley enough for one person let alone three. Suitcases had to be used instead which was not very convenient. Large walk in shower that leaked water out onto the floor of the shower. Only two bath towels and two hand towels, again three person occupancy, We took towels from the pool area to compensate, However there is only space for two towels on the rail to allow them to dry. During the whole stay our bed sheets were not changed Our stay was two weeks before the Olympics were due to start, with the sailing events being hosted in Marseilles. There was a dispute between the Hotel and the House keeping Provide over pay due the Olympic period (From what I understood from the protestors, Radisson were not paying the bonuses that other hotels were paying. My French is not the best but you get the jist). As a result, in true Gallic style, there was a protest outside main reception. Flower, water and strips of paper regularly covering the glass frontage, and an almost never ending siren which we could hear from the Room, the Pool and of course the bar and restaurant. Not nice to be woken up to every day. The restaurant looked nice but we only used it for one breakfast and one lunch, the food was pretty good but the service was appalling. One of three groups for lunch, fifteen minutes before the waiting staff approached our table, a further thirty minutes before the food was served. we encountered the save level of attention in the afternoon in the terrace bar. No one at the service station when we arrived, when a waiter did arrive he checked his desk and disappeared again. When he returned 5 minutes later he finally took an order. Talking with other guests this was not a one off experience. For private parties it was packed with waiting staff??

It’s a really lovely hotel, smells wonderful! and most of the staff are wonderful, just one or two a little aloof at breakfast. The pool is great, the breakfast is brilliant, and has something for everyone, all diets. Would be a ten but for the lifts frequently being out of service and having to walk up 3 flights to the pool on our last day, as well as a weird lack of toilet paper in the room. They didn’t leave a spare roll ever, and we nearly ran out by this morning with a family of three staying in one room.

Disappointing hotel for The Radisson group.

Nice location

The day we arrived housekeeping staff made a huge and noisy demonstration outside the hotel protesting the general manager for his racist and disrespectful behavior. It was impossible to even sit in the lobby till late afternoon. The second night of our stay, the hotel decided to close the pool in the afternoon and threw a dance party until 1:00 am the next day, with noisy music. We are hotel guests and we came yo use the pool but were denied access. Also the hotel cannot throw a noisy street party in the hotel premises with outside guests, disregarding and disrespecting completely the comfort of paying hotel guests. The front desk manager was extremely rude and disrespectful against our reaction to the hotel’s attitude. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Very comfortable stay

The property is extremely well located. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The bathrooms are large and excellent. The rooms are newly renovated. Plenty of restaurants all around the location makes it easy to sightsee, dine, walk. I must make a special mention of Gaelle at the reception desk. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Without her our stay may not have been as pleasant since another receptionist I would rather not name was pretty difficult. Gaelle showed us how to get around Marseille, helped us with dinners and gave us great suggestions. Great job!

It was not worth for the money.

It was cold and the wind was howling through the room. The hotel was in reconstruction, the elevator goes from the 1st floor. There was no functional heating.

Really nice hotel in excellent location in the centre of Marseille to all the action

Excellent location overlooking the port and right next door to shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bedrooms although the hallways outside of lift we’re a little musty smelling don’t let that out you off. Pool area really nice. Very friendly staff.
