Great location & staff

Typical European breakfast. Kevin did a great. Best coffee - French Press Bathroom was big & shower was great. We had a great deck. wonderful views & sunsets. Staff was very helpful especially all 3 Julias

the rooms are on the small side. What would have been better was if the beds were high enough that your suitcase could go underneath.

A place we come back every year

My favorite hotel in Marseille. Every year it’s a tradition in our family to stay there. The rooms are super light, clean, many pretty details. Wonderful view and very friendly staff. Suzanne Kaufmann cosmetics makes it feel like home. I love everything about this place, one of a kind🥰

The best location in Marseille

Amazing location, beautiful rooms, and super attentive staff at the front desk.

The service at breakfast was definitely not great. Food was never replenished, or simply took forever to get replenished - there was shortage of everything from bowls to fruit to water. It felt chaotic and understaffed, which is a shame because technically it could have been great if the actual food was available. I would also suggest to make breakfast longer, until 10:30 at least.

Amazing boutique hotel with a true seaside vibe in Marseille

Great location right next to plage des Catalans and the CNM (with daily passes). Small boutique feel, with curated experience. The restaurant, sunset bar and spa are all excellent. Team was extremely welcoming and helpful.

Unbeatable view at a price

The view from the room is amazing, and the location is very handy for the short bus ride into the centre of town. A clean and tidy beach, Plage de Catalans, is a five minute walk away.

The size of the room is rather small, and for €400 we were expecting a little more in terms of space and décor - essentially you are paying a premium for the view

Disappointing

The colors coming from the window give a true visual experience, no noise coming from outside and comfortable bed.

The hotel claimed to have a private beach and even though the receptionist assured it was my mistake, both the hotel description and the photos on their social profiles reported the opposite. The reality is a public beach, stuffed with people and no help, such as stairs, to get out of the water or comfortable spot to sunbath. I had chosen this hotel two have some relax on the seaside, past a driving holiday through France, and when I realized this wasn't possible I asked to cancel one night out of three; the receptionst didn't really help more than initially denying and after, telling me to deal directly with Booking as I had reserved through them, no big deal but in other situations I received way more help. Must say that Booking has been really helpfull. Moreover the room was claimed to be 20 sqm, nothing to argue more than the fact that part of it was a useless corridor and if you plan to travel with enough luggage for two people and you aren't a masochist this place is definitely not a win. We also dined here, we would have avoided, but having already complained about the beach, we didn't really wan't to be over demanding. For what we ate, we wouldn't return here at any cost as well. Good design, fantastic comunication, arid outcome.

Great design boutique hotel at nice location with friendly staff. However design overrules comfort.

Very nice location with fantastic views, very friendly staff, great breakfast.

Room was super small and mattress was way too soft. Besides, choice between heating/airco is made centrally per floor. The first night the room temperature was 27 degrees as the heating was on (upon the request of another guest staying on the floor); the second night the room temperature was too low. Rooftop bar was not open because of renovations. This is a key element of the element, so we really regret this.

Stunning location and food but with small rooms

The location is amazing. If you have a suite then you are right on the sea! It’s very Instagrammable! The ground-floor restaurant is great too. Pool area on roof is cool and perfect for sunbathing.

The rooms are quite small and there isn’t a lot of storage. We stayed there for 4 nights and it was getting pretty claustrophobic by the end.

The view. The food was excellent to ok in some cases.

Many staff members ignored us completely, maybe because we only spoke English. Some but too few where very nice. Service not attentive four out of five times. Room service hung up the phone when we spoke English.

Far too expensive for a nice but not professional managed hotel.

Very stylish furnished hotel, nice view to the sea, but not to the old harbor, what the description said. Everywhere you could have water to drink (but the glasses were old).

The roof pool was very, very small, some of the sun lounger were damaged, there was no shadow next on the roof pool. The personal at the reception were not professional, friendly, but not really interested in helping the guests ,except one experienced lady. Some repairs like the bathroom door which was very noisy and did not work probably should be done. For a price about 400 Euros for our room this is not acceptable.

The view from the room is amazing.

- The room was dirty, the wardrobe and other stuff were broken. - The staff is kind but no one speaks English. - It's not their fault but for the two nights I slept there, there were man-at-work at 06:30 am of the morning down to my window. - They have gifted me the lunch and the dinner for all the problems I had. I still believe that a hotel that costs more than 300 € doesn't have to be that cheap and poorly maintained.

Beautiful view, great design but disappointing experience

Beautiful hotel, the design and the view is stunning. But unfortunately the staff is not at the level of a luxury hotel, and the service is not aligned with the value of the night.

Overall the experience was good, but overpriced compared to some luxury hotel experience you can have in that same range of price. Breakfast was not great, pancake and pain perdu was not cooked.

Perfect for a Mediterranean weekend spa break

Beautiful view over the Mediterranean Sea. Staff were super welcome and spoke good English. They allowed us to check in early which was helpful since it was a terrible rainy day. Dinner & breakfast on the balcony were a delight. We took a spa package, which was very relaxing & super professional.

I expected more from the swimming pool & sauna area. It's a little small & the sauna doesn't get hot enough. Also due to Covid-19 measure I do think that there should have been better management of the space.

A very comfortable and enjoyable two nights

It is a small modern hotel right on the waterfront overlooking the bay. The staff were charming and most helpful. The breakfast, lunch (only tapas) and dinner was excellent. The location was very good - close to the Vieux Port and not far from the city centre. We will book again next year.
