Stayed for 4 days, very nice city and area - just 50 meters off main road with connectivity : cafés and convenience stores around.

We enjoyed our stay in a Standard Double Room. Really loved the huge fridge in the room and a great towel-drier. The room has the best air conditioning system I’ve ever experienced – it was fresh and nice in the room, not overly cold or hot, just perfect after the heat and the beach. The bed was comfortable, staff was great and helped us leave luggage and gave instructions on how to get around Marseille. The room was also equipped with a safe. Really loved the body balm in the bathroom – was super useful after a hike
Near the hotel there’s a great Monoprix, tram stations and boulangeries. Short walk to the Old Port
One thing I would say is that we lacked some things four-star hotels usually offer – like daily bottled water. But that’s probably because the hotel is eco friendly

It’s clear that the hotel is old and it just got a fresh layer of paint in the walls. The air conditioning doesn’t work well, it’s always kinda warm in the room. The staff is uninterested.
We arrived and the shower support was broken, the girl in the reception tried to convince me it was like that, at least they sent someone on the next day to fix it, no apologies or any acknowledgement.
Our key stopped working 2 times.
Housekeeping came and left only 1 shower towel for a couple.
It was just a sequence of little things that put us off, but mainly, the staff being so unfriendly made our experience just worse. I understand that things break or situations happen, but we are paying costumers, we should be treated better.
I would definitely not stay in this hotel again and not recommend.
