stayed in Best Western a number of times and happy with my selection

The rooms were large, modern and clean, plus bed was fairly comfortable. The staff on reception were very helpful when approached and although a bit expensive the breakfast was adequate.

I had to book an extra night because of flight rescheduling and was a bit disappointed that I could not add it to my booking and instead had to make a separate booking for one night which was very expensive compared to my initial booking

Recommendation for a city trip

The hotel is near the old harbor. You can reach it within 15 minutes of walking. There is a metro Station nearby so you can go anyhwere in town easily. The part of town is not special or very inreresting but compared to other parts cleaner less busy. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can get a place for your car in the parking lot nearby. It's not cheap but it seems safe. The breakfast is good (pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, Croissants, Baguette, toast, fruits, ham, cheese, Nutella, Coffee, hot chocolate, juice) but also a bit expensive (19 Euro per Person and night). The staff is very friendly

The Pool is small. They try to reserve time slots but they seem to give them to more people than just one room. We always had other people (up to 5 plus us coming from four different rooms) with us and that's annoying in the small pool. Apart from that the Pool room has only two loungers. They were always blocked by somebody else. I have never seen anyone actually using them because someone always blocks them and removes their towels when leaving. So if they give time slots, they should make sure that people stick to it. The hotel room itself is a bit small and has not enough space to put your towels and swimming suit to dry. What annoyed me the most: the glas for the toilet brush Was full when we arrived and whenever we used the toilet brush it was soaking wet and left drops of toilet water on the floor. It don't feel like it's my job to empty it with my bare hands after arriving in a new hotel room.

Perfect location and clean rooms

The cleanliness of our rooms was great. Beds were comfortable. We had a double room and a twin room. The twin room size was much larger than most hotels. The AC was very good which was needed as the temperatures were average 33 degrees during our stay. Staff were on hand should we need anything. Check in and check out was easy. Location was perfect for us. There was good WiFi connection. Plenty of eateries right next to the hotel with outdoor seating which open quite early in the morning. It is a short walk from the hotel to the port and there are plenty of transport links nearby. There is also a great shopping centre approx 7 minutes walk away.

There were only 2 issues during our stay. The shower in the twin room wet the bathroom floor when you used it and took a while to dry up before the next person went in. The double room only had mirrors on the inside of the bathroom. A mirror is needed in the actual bedroom too.

My stay was great and I would definitely come again.

Very clean, very comfortable bed, quiet, nice bath/shower, good breakfast, nice swimming pool, lovely staff, nice location close to the water, the MUCEM and the old port.

It’s a pity that the bar doesn’t sell anything at all to eat, other than crisps and peanuts. That would have been a great additional plus.

It was an ok hotel but don't expect too much or you'll be disappointed.

The room was clean, they had a clothes dryer in the bathroom.

The Air conditioner barely worked, We had to set the thermostat to 16C and close the curtains during the day in order to come back to a room that was barely cool (about 24C) at night. The room was small, the lobby and facilities of the hotel was small and cramped. The traffic noise was loud, they charged an excessive amount for breakfast. The shower was not enclosed but rather only had a small pane of glass that didn't prevent splashing from getting all over the bathroom.

Very poor

They sold a parking pass at a reduced rate for Q Park nearby, although you have to pick it up from reception before parking which was tricky as there was nowhere to park at the hotel.

The room was tiny and cramped with barely enough room for our suitcases. The bed was small. The furnishings were tired. The tiny bathroom had no ventilation, making the whole room humid whenever the shower was used. The A/C worked well at first but by morning it was rattling loudly and not cooling the room effectively. The rooms are not well sound proofed. Breakfast was average, a wide selection of food but much of it lacklustre. Most of the plates were chipped and the cutlery was dirty. I thought maybe I was just unlucky to get a butter knife that hadn't been cleaned properly, so I opened another set of cutlery only to find another dirty butter knife!
