The only thing we liked was the provision of cold water in the reception area. Otherwise it was absolutely awful! Where do I begin, room was full of damp and smelled awful! There was damp in walls and bathroom ceiling was falling apart. Everything was so tired and used. There was no cleaning at all. They gave us 2 toilet rolls and 2 small towels for 5 day stay. On day 3 air conditioning stopped working and not worked for a day and night which made the temperature and the smell of the room unbearable! It was a shocking experience and I wouldn't wish that on anyone! I am confident this room was a health risk and i felt awful putting my child through this.

good place for a one night stay during the weekend. Room just like the pictures. No reception, so for the check in the give you instructions to open a safe box to get a phone number to call. Then a 30 minutes wait to somebody appear to give you the room key. They say they have parking, but when somebody finally show up i already have found street parking nearby.

I stayed in Marseille for one night and in Paris for 6. I wish I could go back and flip these times just for the hotel alone! This hotel was spacious and clean. The amenities are awesome. Stove, utensils, pots and pans, and microwave are all provided. There's also a towel warmer in the bathroom which was a great perk. There was a working elevator, air conditioning, and beautiful views out the window. Friendly and helpful staff too. I would absolutely stay here again.

Highly recommend for no-frills budget travelers, especially for those who stay in Marseille for a while! *It’s in the revitalized industrial/ port areas. The process is still in progress in some parts, but it’s clean and safe, despite some bad reviews I read. *The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. *A fully equipped small kitchenette for one person or two. Everything worked well. *The room I stayed was really clean. I work out on the floor every morning even when I travel, so I can tell how clean the floor is! *I took #49 bus to Aix-en-Provence just a few blocks away from this Apartment. Very convenient, and #49 is a little cheaper than the fancier #50 from Saint-Charles. *I stayed at the end of November and was told the heater was not working yet. It was a little chilly, but the heat pipes in the bathroom worked. Just be prepared. I fully support their efforts to conserve energy 😊

Easy access to the old port and other attractions in Marseille. The person we interacted with at the desk was very friendly and helpful, gave us some tips to explore the area which was a highlight of our visit.

They got winter duvet on beds rather then summer duvet in the summer time, and no air conditioning in the room,,, when we enter the room we notice the toilet roll was not a new toilet roll but we forgetten to ask for a new roll until on the third night in the middle of the night we ran out, and there was no spare toilet roll available,,, normally there should be few available in the room,, it just one of the basics,,, the fridge was not a fridge it was freezer on the second night it flooded/defrosted,,, we got few dessert yogurts and put it in the fridge by the morning the yogurt was frozen. As for the shower on the first morning we ask them/reception to clean it nothing was done to clean it but when we return later in the evening towels were change but deliberately left the shower dirty even we mentioned to reception the person before us hair was on the shower head,,, there was no tea kettle but a coffee machine it was no good,,, the general cleaningness was below standard I will insert photos of the dirty shower,,, but does not matter

The hotel is close to all types of transportation, although a little far from the centre. The elevator at times didn't work. The room was clean, and well equipped with dishes, utensils, all all the necessary to make a meal. Staff very nice and helpful. I would stay here again!

The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The smoke detector is was ripped out of the ceiling and the safe did not work, there was flies all around the room and the shower floor was yellow and dirty. Would not recommend it to anyone. Front counter staff was not helpful either. I am still awaiting my refund. What a disgrace of a hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE

The hotel is in a rough area. Room was relatively clean but the AC isn’t working properly. Air is blowing out of the went but it doesn’t cool the room down even though I out on the lowest temperature which makes it impossible to sleep when it’s 30 degrees outside and inside.

I had a booking with them, and when i got to the hotel they said that they had cancelled without even notifying me. They sent me and my husband away, the two women at the front were soo rude, no hospitality or customer service skills whatsoever and the hotel looked clean on the outside but manky on the inside... the staff are super rude and abnoxious. DONT ever go there i wouldnt reccommend, I didnt end up staying there but after a couple of hours I noticed that they took payment from my accound. When i asked fot a refund they snubbed us off again. So they have taken our money without us even staying there! Thieves!

Frankly i don't know what to say about all the reasons to not go there : - they try to charge you for a room already paid on hotels.com - they refused at first to provide a receipt for local taxes (unbelivable) - they say the check in is at 4pm then when i showed the email where it's written between noon and 4pm they said sorry we meant midnight ! So i did have to wait two hours for my room and what a room ! - at arount 10pm i felt something in my hand and actually there was insects in the bed Avoid this place if you need a peacful vacation

I found this hotel thinking it was a great deal for a few nights in marseille. Based on the pictures, the hotel appeared to be a nice and cozy stay in a fully furnished studio. Little did I know that I would be checking into a semi renovated room in a creepy building. The check in process was a complete mess as the staff did not have any rooms available when I showed up. The utensils and plates in the kitchen area were not well cleaned. The bathroom sink was faulty and the water could not go down fast which caused a bad odor. The air condition vents did not work properly so regardless of whether you put on the heater or cold air, nothing changed. The room just remained stuffy. I stayed for a total of 5 nights and no one ever entered the room to clean. On the 3rd day I went to go ask and was told that they only clean the room once every 7 days so I'm not qualified to have my room cleaned. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. No only that but I was also told that they would have to charge me if I need more clean towels. Again, I stayed for 5 nights and only 2 towels were provided. The breakfast was also a dissapointment. The supposed "scrambled eggs" was just yellow pudding. I first thought it was a mistake but it was the same thing put out every morning. Overall, I am highly disappointed in this stay and I regret ever choosing this hotel. What was advertised was very different from reality.

It was a really bad experience. The rooms does not match the reality at all. The hallway, the room and even the cafeteria were really dirty. There was a lot of dust; swabs on the floor; spiders; spider webs; the curtain was falling off and was really dirty; there was hair and old soap from previous customers on the shower; to have a shower we had to hold it while showering because it was broken; we were in two people and there was only one towel, ripped; the toilet was dirty; there wasn’t hygienic paper and we had to buy it; we asked for one more towel, hygienic paper and extra pillows and they said they didn’t have; the breakfast was also bad, in a dirty cafeteria with products that didn’t look fresh.

Hotel is okay. Convenient to our business locations. But the room they gave us, as soon as we entered, had a terrible smell. We were exhausted from long day of work and driving, and we thought maybe we don’t want to go all the way back to reception to change the room, but the smell was gross, so we went back. The next room, was fine, until we used the bathroom. Cockroaches!!!. I took a video as well as pictures. Shut the door right and put towels against it so the cockroaches couldn’t come through to the bedroom. (But they are probably in the whole building if they are in one room). I am just hoping our luggage is not infested when we get back home with any larvae. We were tooo exhausted at this point. It was around midnight. We reported it to the front desk at check out the next morning. Showed the receptionist the picture and video. We had to leave for our meeting. She said she would make a note of it, and get it fixed. Not a good experience for hotel guests
